List of Tarick I. Abdo's Reviews
I was very unhappy with my appt. He didnt wear gloves when he examined me. I did not see him wash his hands either. Dr Abdo talks slow like he's not really there. He ignored the lump on the side of my toe which turned out to be a ganglion cyst. (He just said, "hmm."... that was it). He ignored the nerve pain too, it's like he just agrees with you and doesn't elaborate. We talked about the nerve pain and I asked if my gabapentin should be adjusted or if there was an alternative. He just kinda gave this face and said, "yeah, they have side effects." That's it. What does that mean? Then they tried to sell me products on the way out. Waste of time and money.
Dr. Abdo was the first podiatrist to truly listen to my concerns. He did a thorough examination, then presented me with the options for treatments. He explained the pros and cons of each. I decided to go with a cortisone shot for my plantar fasciitis the same office visit. The pain had been awful for over a year. After leaving the office, I had no pain. It's been nearly a month and still no pain. Dr. Abdo is very thoughtful, thorough and compassionate... all of which are very important to me when choosing a doctor of any specialty. I appreciate him and will definitely return to him with any further issues. -Debra Lee
I have a 2pm appt. I’m still sitting here at 2:45. He apparently double booked himself because a sweet elderly couple came in after me yet they got called in first……. I have no idea how long I will be waiting and the fact that I am having to pay to park while I wait is not okay with me. I have a very limited income and I’m stressing out over the cost of parking.
Awesome doctor did my surgery with no hesitation at all him n his staff are very sweet and respectful couldn’t ask for anything more
I wish he would have cared about my condition and stead of pretending it didn't exist
Kind, he listens to his patients. Good doctor. Great office staff,Monique Newsom is is great along with the rest of the office staff.
I saw Dr. Abdo two times. The initial assessment was rushed and I was barely able to get the basic history of my condition verbalized, let alone give details. I was given medication and rushed out. The second appointment I was again cut short and offered custom orthotics in the first 3 minutes of the appointment. I asked questions about their cost, efficacy, and questioned whether they were an Evidence Based Practice. The doctor was confrontational and stated “I haven’t done my own research” but then agreed that the consensus from peer reviewed journals is muddy at best. He then told me 70-80%of his clients recover with them and it was his personal opinion. The doctor then blew up when I asked why it would be effective, yelling and telling me to “have a good life” and eventually cursing at me in the lobby. Avoid his practice at all costs.
After several visits, new orthodics, quick exams and being told it would take time to get results, my condition has never been remedied.
My friend had to have part of his toes amputated. The staff have been very caring and helpful through out the whole thing.
Dr. Abdo is wonderful Podiatrist. As well as his staff. He has been my Doctor for almost a year. He preformed surgery today, on my left foot. I trust his judgement and his work. Gratitude DeMicka

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
