Very thorough both in his evaluation and questions. Sincerely wants his patients to understand. Is efficient but doesn’t make you feel rushed. ONLY negative is that had to wait 1hr 20min past my appointment time to be seen.

After having a REAL bad experience with my left knee replacement done at Comm. North. I trusted Dr. Egwu, especially after all the rave reviews. Hahaha, but not funny. He put my right knee implant in crooked. Now I look like I have one knocked knee. Now I need surgery to straighten it out. So, one straight knee, one knocked. Community Network will not be operating on me anymore. He has back problems, maybe he was rushing due to pain. You also wait a long time before being seen, then you're rushed out. NEVER AGAIN!!

During first visit, thought he was okay; until I called for pain medicine for the tear in my rotator cuff. Was told that because my pain was not due to having surgery, they would not give me anything for pain. Surgery is not the only reason people have pain. Left me in pain and agony; without showing a bit of concern. I had to call my regular doctor to manage the pain.You got it, i'm never going back to him again. Only wants to cut on you and nothing else.

His nurse said he is always an hour late and sure enough he was. Very unprofessional I walked out after waiting over an hour for him to see me. Completely unprofessional staff and doctor.

Amazing compassionate. He actually listens to you. He is treating me for severe knee issues due to mixed connective tissue disease and 35 years of running. I dislike the staff but love him.

I personally worked with this doctor several years ago. He was an excellent surgeon.

Dr. Egwu is very professional, knowledgeable, and a very caring doctor! He's done both of my hip replacements and I have nothing negative to say about either experience, except I should have done it sooner - especially if he was going to be my surgeon!

Honestly I would love to give no stars, I came in for my should to be looked at he decided to do two cortisone shots and when he did the second one he hit my lung, I told him something didn't feel right and I could not breathe. He did a x-ray and told me I was fine and I can go home, I went to the er and ended up in the hospital for four days due to my lung being claps by 50%, I had three different doctors tell me it is from Eqwu. If I would went home I was told I would of died! He did not seem to care and seemed very distracted while i was in the office. I will not be coming back. I would not recommend!!!!!

I gave a thorough explanation of my experience with hand swelling. I brought x-rays and bloodwork. This doctor didn’t look at any of my medical documents and basically said “he didn’t know” without an exam and then told me I had anger issues just because I told him I was coming to him for a 2nd opinion. The previous Dr gave me a diagnosis I didn’t agree with and I’m assuming he didn’t like my opinion of the previous Dr. I guess they all stick together. I was merely being my own health advocate but apparently this guy wasn’t too happy about that. Don’t waste your time here. Find a better Dr who cares more about THE PATIENT than his fellow constituents.
