in a car wreck &broke 1 finger &severely dislocated another. Which I had to point out to them.they did surgery,3 screws in 1 finger &2 pins in the other .The pain meds they gave me were the lowest dose possible &did not help unless I took 2-3 @a time. .treated me like I was crazy,& said too bad .They did a refill of the same mg.Whatever. A month goes by & it was painful but more bearable.Until they took the pins out.called them same night bawling & said I’m miserable,can’t sleep or eat.Never called back.Well it was infected,which if they would have called me back they would have known.So I was sent to the er 4 antibiotics & a follow up. Where he said pain meds are counterproductive to my therapy. Treated like a junkie from day 1.&I’m in so much pain I can’t do my therapy they way I should. Probably won’t regain normal function of my hand but that’s ok, just as long as they don’t have to give me more meds , cuz intense pain is what you want while doing physical therapy. Yea right.

Dr Kleinman is the nicest, most compassionate doctor I have ever had the pleasure to meet. He took his time with me and explained my situation in a way I could understand. He was genuinely concerned about me and showed sincere empathy to surgeries I had gone through in the past with other providers. He answered all of my questions and gave me all of the information I needed to make an educated decision on my care. I highly recommend him.
