I had a visit with Dr. Blessinger after therapy didn't work for my back pain and tingling in my toes. He showed me my MRI and where the problem was at. I unfortunately had 2 disc herniations. Surgery was scheduled at their surgery center as an outpatient. Things could not have gone any better than they did. I was up and about yet that day. I had my 6 week follow up today and was cleared for going back to a normal routine. He did inform me that there is a 17% chance that my herniations could come back which I appreciated knowing. So time will tell on that. Dr. Blessinger was very informative on my procedure and what would happen after. If I had any questions, he was more than happy to answer them. I was grateful that things didn't get prolonged with doing this first and then that and being proactive with my diagnosis.

Dr Blessinger's nurse is very thorough and caring which I cannot say the same for Dr. Blessinger. He was late, in a hurry, didn't give me time to ask questions. Made a quick decision based on what I told his nurse and out the door he went.

They say if you can't say anything nice you should not say anything at all so I won't comment on the older lady at the front desk. As far as Dr. Blessinger, after waiting more than 30 minutes to see him, I felt rushed that he had his decision already made on what my problem was before he entered the office. Dr. Blessinger performed back surgery on my lower spine. He was very professional, as well as confident that he could help relieve my pain. He was informative, took his time in explaining the procedure and he took time to answer any questions I had.

I tore my bicep on a Friday afternoon at 5pm and Dr. Blessinger picked up the phone around 5:30pm to chat with me regarding my injury almost immediately after someone had referred me to him. I believe that he was probably off of work by that time which showed me right away that he is willing to go above and beyond for his patients. He calmed me down and discussed with me how to go about it as I was a little wide-eyed at the time wondering about work and everything I do on a weekly basis.In what seemed like no time at all, He had me fixed up about a week later and on the road to recovery which is extremely fast turnaround! Staff was very nice and Dr. Blessinger did a great job explaining the procedure and the steps that I needed to take afterwards to get back to 100%. Thank you all so much for the wonderful service :D
