Mukund Komanduri's Online Review Report Card

After a bad fall I needed shoulder surgery. My rotator cuff, slap and bicep tendon were torn. I also had a few fractures and a pocket whole in my shoulder that required bone marrow from my hip. He was fabulous not only in professionalism but with care and kindness. He's great!!

Hands down the best.. caught mistakes u of Chicago missed.. no sugar coating diagnoses and has passion.

When I started seeing Dr. Komanduri, I was shekels about having surgery on my hands. He told me what he was going to do and what to expect after the surgery. He is very turles,and he explains everything, so you can understand it. I was so glad that Dr. Redding told me to go and see him. I recommend Dr. Komanduri is the best . I am doing great, I fill good about my hands. I did go through Therapy, and I have complete that to. Keep up the great work that you do Dr. Komanduri. I Love his staff. Arthroscopic hip surgery in 2013 (labrum repair, impingement repair). The surgery went relatively well. Post-Op was hell. Never felt that level of pain before. The anesthesiologist came back into recovery and gave me something that just made every ounce of pain disappear. I dont remember his name, but he was a life saver. I wouldnt say that I am completely dissatisfied with my surgery. Now, about 8 years later, I am noticing some of the symptoms return (although not near as bad). Also, Dr. K is extremely arrogant / ‘I know everything’ sort of attitude. Overall, I probably would not recommend him to anyone to have surgery. One thing that really angered me, was when I was having severe pain a couple of weeks post op, and he wanted to prescribe me Ultrim/Tramadol. Its hard enough to ask a doctor for pain meds these days and I kind of felt like he was making me feel like a drug seeker. Pretty off-putting.

I crushed my ankle 25 years ago when a porch swing fell on it. Dr Komanduri did open reduction surgery to repair the bones that afternoon. It was a bad break that I knew was going to require continued care and replacement some day. Every doctor I have seen at In various Washington DC practices have remarked on the outstanding job Dr K did putting that ankle back together.

Easy to talk to. I trust him completely. He gives you the information you need and lets you make the decision.

Dr. K has done numerous surgeries on our daughter for defects, sport injuries & cartilage transplants in both knees. He's professional, exceptional gifted & explains everything very well. We couldn't be happier with him. He even helped us with an insurance claim for a transplant. He's our go to doctor for orthopedics. Thanks doc.

he has left Illinois and I have no care. I guess he lies. Don't go see him.

Everyone from my immediate family have had very positive experiences.Many years ago my nephew has a dirt bike accident, and severely smashed his leg. Dr. K fixed his leg up more then anyone thought he could.Dr K gave me sinvisc shots in my knees. The first one lasted 2 years, the 3, and 4th lasted 4 the, and 5 years respectively. I was out of town extra long last year, and running all over the place when my knees were to gravel. I found a Dr that would give me the shots. They only lasted about11 months. I will be going back to get shots at the MK Clinic.He also gave my Mom the shots in her knees. She was about 92, and her knees remained better till the winter she passed at 96.Dr. K did surgery on my son's, and his wifes knees. He did surgery on my youngest daughter.Several of my nieces, and nephews also had procedure done by Dr.K and they were very happy the result.However, the procedure he did on me. My husband was in the hospital, and his room was getting crowded, so I went out to the little waiting area. I was talking to my friend when I saw Dr. K walking down the hall. He stopped, and asked why I there. I told him Larry had stage 4 cancer, he just gave me the biggest hug, till I got my crying stopped. Told me I'd I ever needed something to call himI would recommend DR. K to anyone, for anything.Sorry for the long review. 🧡❤️
