List of Lrg Healthcare's Reviews
3 hours in the er waiting room and still waiting .better care after got out of waiting room
I just spent a week at the ICU @ LRGH and couldn't have been happier with the staff and care I recieved. They literally saved my life! The nurses were SO supportive and positive. Kept me fighting and got me thru a very bad case of Covid! They called my wife regularly with updates. The team made a very tough week manageable. The food was wonderful, quick and of great variety. I could not have been in a better place for my care! Thanks so much. You truly made a difference!Pat Bannon
Worse place to ever to come
Awful. They knew my son was from out of state, but nonetheless, they had a PA write a prescription.Either they were incompetent, not realizing a PA cannot write an out-of-state prescription.Or they didn’t care enough to verify the prescription would be valid.Either way, very poor treatment, if you can possibly find another hospital, you definitely should.
I would give 0 stars if possible. From times I've personally been treated there and had to have additional tests/treatment else where due to the incompetence of the staff, is astounding. You can't trust this place or these people to take care of you or a loved one. At this point I wouldn't even trust them to stitch a wound. An absolutely horrific hospital. The staff and administration should be ashamed of themselves.
I know there has been a lot of mixed reviews here but my experience so far has been nothing but really good!! Every time I've gone there, they've always been really helpful 2 me. They make sure my concerns are all met and they work with me w/payment options for my bill. (Nice job)
This place is literally always terrible but I keep trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. I went here for a glucose test TWICE. The first time they said that I didn’t have to drink the sugar drink, which in fact my doctor called weeks later and said I actually did have to take the drink (after this current visit I’m guessing they just didn’t want to be bothered). The second time (today) I called ahead and they said I had to be there before 3 because it wouldn’t give them enough time. I got there at 2:40 (had to leave my new job early again), and the information desk lady is nice but SO SLOW, then the registrar, Courtney was soooo sweet (and the only good part of the hospital) was trying to get me in as fast as possible but I’m guessing maybe she was new or just things weren’t working fast enough. Anyway the phlebotomist with beautiful curly grey hair opened the door angrily and in front of everybody said “IS THIS FOR VICTORIA???” I said yes that’s me! And she said “I told you and the front earlier I couldn’t do this test so late!!” And anyway I said I was there at 240, but she said “well it’s 2:55 now and usually the test is done in the morning!” which I can’t do because I work at 630am. Anyway she was so rude, and just simply did not want to be bothered (the same woman as last time). Even if there was some hospital policy that she actually COULD NOT take me, she could have nicely explained it rather than coming out of the room angry and flustered and embarrassing me in front of everyone (I left crying). I refuse to go to this hospital again and now I’m 31 weeks pregnant and STILL have not taken my glucose test which is recommended at 26 weeks. But again, Courtney was the only bearable part.I wanted to update! I had to go again today. My obgyn called and complained and the lab said they would help me out as long as I was there and checked in by 2:40. Everyone was lovely from the information desk to the lab. We were able to chat and laugh, and they even apologized for my experience yesterday. I believe the person in the lab that took care of me today was Nancy?? If not I’m so sorry— she had a short stacked bob with reddish-purple-brown hair and was clear with her instructions and very kind. Thank you to the staff that made me feel so comfortable today 💕.
My son (10 years old) broke his leg at Gunstock yesterday and we headed straight to this ER. Honestly they could not have been more fantastic. We did not wait. Every nurse and doctor took the time to explain every step of treatment to him. They calmed him down. Casted him. Gave us recommendations for next steps. The nurses were just lovely. Caring, sweet, kind. As a NYC girl, who has done more than her fair share of ERs, this place blew me away. I just want to write this for the next mom whose kid breaks something at Gunstock - don't hesitate to take your kid here. We seriously considered driving back home to NYC but are so happy we did not. We were in and out of there in less than 4 hours. We are grateful for the excellent care. We truly are.
Worst hospital my grandson went in there tonight with a bad cough they told us nothing is wrong with him we shouldn't bring him in! I will be filing a complaint tomorrow for malpractice thank you
Got into a ski accident in 2017, took a scan of my head and was about to send me home stating a concussion until bloodwork came back with inflammation markers in my liver. When they did that CT they found out I had a bruised lung, and broken ribs. And we later found out i had brain damage

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
