List of Brianna L. Leachman-Haab's Reviews
Dr Haab has delivered 2 of my kids & has been my OBGYN for 4 years she’s also done a ovarian surgery on me. She was recommended to me by a friend & I can honestly say she’s the best Dr I’ve ever had!
Literally in the hospital bed gonna push out a baby soon after having an epidural and I absolutely love my dr she has been amazing through the entire process and I feel as though google should know.
Dr. Leachman-Haab was professional, kind, thorough, and easy to talk to. She was knowledgeable and helpful with menopause questions, etc. (patient past pregnancy years).
Will use again. Professional, kind and thorough. Knowledgeable and helped with questions and concerns.
I had a terrible experience with Dr. Haab and do not recommend her. My daughter was born on week 34 and spent two weeks in the NICU. Dr. Haab was my O.B. until my week 28 when I decided to change and go with the midwife because I did not feel connected with Dr. Haab. On week 32nd I started bleeding and had to go to the emergency room, where they told me I had placenta previa. They looked at my 20 weeks ultrasound and told me it was in WRITING that I had Previa. However, Dr. Haab never told me I had placenta previa. In the emergency room the O.B. mentioned the precautions I should have been having: not have sex (which I had), do not exercise (I did prenatal Pilates and yoga), and that I should have had another ultrasound. After 6 days I bled again and had an emergency c-section. With placenta previa, labor is avoided because there can be very serious consequences for the mother and the baby. However, Dr. Haab in one of the last appointments I had with her asked me if I wanted to schedule a day for induction in what would be my 40th week. On one hand, I am grateful for bleeding in my 32nd week, because I don't even want to think what would have passed if I did not bleed and everything was "normal" and went into labor. I believe Dr. Haab was negligent by not informing me of my condition and providing me with the necessary care in this regard.
I had quite a different experience here than any health system I used in Tennessee. First, I noticed everything on the second floor was streamlined through one receptionist and a team of coordinators. No matter what department or doctor you’re seeing on that floor, you see the receptionist first. It’s an efficient system, albeit confusing at first. The medical offices have their own entrance in the back of the hospital. I found parking on that side to be more convenient. My nurse/medical assistant was Brittany and she did a great job. She was fast, courteous, and knowledgeable. She’s also the first person I remember asking which STD test I wanted (or both). I’m not sure I have ever realized I had a choice. Dr. Leachman-Habb was easy to talk to and reassuring. I went in for an office visit but had my Pap smear too. She was very transparent about the exam. She’s also the first person to actually teach me how to do a breast exam. She’s knowledgeable of course, but I find many doctors don’t often talk to you about their knowledge. They say things to you and sound condescending or dismissive. But she didn’t do that. She talked through her reasoning and discussed options with me. Definitely recommend IU Health. It seemed very advanced compared to other healthcare systems.
she is the best
Dr. Haab really cares about her patients. You know you can trust her.
While I trusted Dr. Haab completely, I wish she took the time to explain her decisions. My appointments with her always felt rushed and I felt she wasn't really open to questions.
Dr Haab was overall a great doctor. I wrote up a birth plan for my childbirth to have a natural birth with as few interventions as possible, and I feel that she did her best to respect my wishes while still making sure my baby was healthy. She is busy, so appointments were quick, but she always answered my questions if I had them. She is kind and respectful.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
