Iu Health Arnett Hospital's Online Review Report Card

My Dad is a current patient there and is been taken very good care of. He's been on both the 2nd and 4th floor. Staff have been very patient, caring and understanding with him. There are no words good enough to describe the care he's been given. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Best hospital around outside of Indy.

I want to personally thank Dr. Ali and ALL of the many other doctors, nurses, and other staff members that saved my life. I had a massive heart attack in July and if it were not for their actions and continued efforts to revive me, I would not be here with my wife and kids today. I also want to thank the sitters that sat with me while recovering. It was emotionally and physically tough and just talking with them got me through a lot. Dr Ali kept telling me I would get home to my family and that it was his goal as much as mine which was very inspiring to me personally. I am doing very well and recovering more each day. Alok Harwani MD is an amazing ED physician!! My husband and I went into the ED department. My husband was the patient, and MD Harwani answered every single question without hesitation. I am a nurse, and had a list of questions in regards to my husbands labs/procedures performed. Very knowledge and comforting. He explained everything in detail, and took his time with us. My wife and I LOVE the IU Health system in Lafayette. AVOID St. Elizabeth. PLEASE trust us on this one. She went to St. Elizabeth for 6+ months for one issue: her gallbladder. After excruciating pain, lazy doctors, several months and delayed tests, we were fed-up and went to IU. We showed IU the scans, and within 2 weeks had an appointment to get her gallbladder removed. She feels better than she has in years. Her gallbladder was sent to a lab for testing. We just got the call back from the lab -- her gallbladder was chronically inflamed, cellular changes were present (that could have lead to cancer), and the gallstones had been there for years. The size of the gallbladder indicated it could have ruptured at any time. Thanks to IU and their awesome staff, my wife is pain-free. We also had our children at the IU hospital and have nothing but amazing things to say about their staff and mother-baby unit. The birthing rooms are very large, private, and comfortable. Side note: my wife is a nurse and has seen the "other side" of St. Elizabeth as well. While she hasn't worked for the IU system, her experiences with St. Elizabeth as a nurse confirm her experiences as a patient. TRUST US. DON'T GO TO ST. ELIZABETH. Go to IU. I had spinal surgery May 10. Doctor Jackson was wonderful and all the staff. My nurse on the 3rd floor. Was great too. I wish I remembered her name but was so sleepy when I was there. I enjoyed my lunch before I went home too. I would love to be at IuArnett if I ever needed them again. The billing department was great .
