Khoa Lai's Online Review Report Card

I had my upper eye lids lifted. I am so disappointed in the results, the top lid still has sagging. I thought I would see a difference, but not anything. I would not recommend anyone have this done if you want good results. I didn't expect a miracle but did think I would have some definition and I have none.

My experience with the front office was one for the books. The older lady at the window was absolutely rude and unprofessional. I was in there a few months ago sitting in a full waiting room when the lady started yelling through her closed window at probably an 80 year old man saying “what are you looking at” “turn your head and quit staring” because he was looking at her direction. I was so embarrassed for her behavior. Each time I’ve been in there I haven’t had a good experience with the office staff. Dr. Lai on the other hand is absolutely amazing. He does miraculous and flawless work and if he didn’t have those office girls, I’d recommend him to any and everyone.

I want to thank all the people brave enough to put their reviews of 1 stars. I was considering this dr for a revision breast surgery but no way now. I already had one rude dr I consulted with I don’t need another.

Dr Lai has very poor bedside manners. He literally laughed at me for not knowing the "hoops" to jump through with my insurance for a breast reduction. My OBGYN sent me to him to start the ball rolling in the process and it apparently was wasting his time by the way he treated me throughout the appointment. You can tell his staff do not care for him as well because not a single one was warm or kind. I can tell you he wasn't worth the $300 consult fee I had to pay.

He has absolutely no bedside manner. You can tell his staff don't like him as well because not a single person in that office was welcoming or very nice. He literally laughed at me because I did not know the "hoops" I needed to jump through with my insurance to even qualify for a reduction and that I was really wasting his time. But it was ok my gynecologist didn't know these "hoops" though. It definitely wasn't worth the $300 consult fee I had to pay this moron.

Dr Lai has very poor bedside manner and to remove a five inch mole as nothing more than apaper cut was insulting our intelligence. I would not recommend Dr. Lai to anyone! He by far is the most unprofessional Dr. That I have ever met!

He's not only an amazing doctor but he's personable, understanding, easy to communicate with and very patient. I would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat. I think he is compassionate with his patients but yet blunt with what needs to be done and doesn't mess around. After multiple surgeries we finally accomplished our goal to heal my pilonidal cyst for the time being. It can always come back but we hope for the best each and everyday. Thank you for being such a great doctor!

I see Dr. Lai about 3-4 times a year for facial skin checks follow a couple of bouts with basal cell skin lesions. He is really terrific, very caring, and doesn't recommend any procedure that doesn't need to be done. He frequently says that his recommendation is that we can just keep an eye on spots and watch for changes. My wait time is probably longer than most because due to my work schedule, I have to have one of the last appointments of the day.

I first met Dr. Lai when I took my mother to see him for skin cancer. She is 87 years old, and he has very patient and understanding with her and has done very well with her skin problems. Now I need his services. I feel comfortable and safe with him in charge of my condition..
