Although the staff is very helpful, the parking lot, entrance and exit is not easily accessible, especially if you’re using a walker. The Doctor is kind and thorough. Would be nice if it was easier to park near the doors and get in and out of the office.

Was more than we anticipated. Dr Lake was thorough, patient, explanatory and just plain nice. My husband is very skeptical about doctors but Dr Lake won him over. Only complaint is that Dr Lake is so busy it was a long wait from time appointment was made to time we got to see him. If he spends as much time as he did with us it’s no wonder it takes so long to see him.

Tried to schedule biopsy of rash, ordered by my immunologist. A consultation and biopsy have to be 2 different appointments, otherwise the Dr would run behind for other patients. Makes sense. They wouldn't let me schedule my appts back to back because it was simply office protocol. They wanted me to come in one day and then back the next, w/ no medical reason for the waiting period between appts. They were not willing to work with me or give a logical reason for having to make 2 separate trips

Excellent bedside manner. Great personality and takes interest in patient beyond mechanics of exam. Good sense of humor. Easily establishes rapport with patient and doesn't rush through appointment or procedure and explains things well. Disappeared from Lafayette for awhile (no explanation) but am glad he's back! My friends also like him. I highly recommend Dr. Lake!
