Operated on my broken wrist 3 years ago. I am now having tremendous pain from it. But because I couldn't pay 400 within one week, I can't be seen. I didn't even have any follow up appointments. No one plans to fall in the street and break their wrist. My husband is the only one working and 4 children reside here. We are not rich. We live paycheck to paycheck. Dont have 400 all at once. So even though I have insurance no medical care for me from rich doctor Highhouse. Because he might strave if me and my kids can't pay in full within a week.
He is very knowledgeable. A great listener and has a super sense of humor. Dr Highhouse cares about his patients and takes time to make sure everything is good and done right. He explains things so everything is easily understood and makes sure his patient’s wuestions are answered Overall a great guy
I have something to say,One I don't see Dr High house,And I'm glad I don't, Because a friend of mine has seen you,You operated on her ankle is full of infection she can't hardly walk she's over 60 and because there's a bill there for $500 you will do absolutely nothing for her to help her in this pain you won't take the stuff out you put in you told her until the $500 is paid you'll do nothing for her what kind of doctor would do that to a patient I believe that is called malpractice. I have to see her in so much pain all the time she can't hardly walk she came to you to fix it after you messed it up and you've left her the way she is infection oozing out of her ankle all the time. Please tell me when money became more important than your patients lives. She has three different kinds of insurance included Medicaid and Medicare and a private insurance and your company has not even sending in to see if the insurance companies would pay it but yes she still lives in this awful God pain
Excellent
Dr. Highhouse has been great! He takes the time to listen and is very patient oriented. He discusses procedures and options with his patients. I would recommend him to family and friends any day of the week. I find my encounters with him to be outstanding. I think he is truly awesome.
My mother had an appointment with Dr. Highhouse. She was there a total of 90 seconds before he dismissed her and said there was nothing more he could do. He asked maybe a total of 2 questions and like others have mentioned lacked any warmth, compassion, concern or creativity when it comes thinking outside of the box. I’m incredibly disappointed and surprised that my mother’s colleague even referred her to this doctor. I would not recommend Dr. Highhouse for orthopedic care.
Dr. Highhouse is amazing! A great listener and communicator. He took his time with me and listened to my concerns. We reviewed all my options and came up with a game plan going forward. He definitely is a Five Star.
He got pissed at me because I sought out a second opinion!!!!! Yelled at me during my next appointment!! Told me to get out of his office! Within a month, my bi-sep blew out on the shoulder he did surgery on. Hurt unbelievably!!! If you respect yourself, avoid this poor excuse for a surgeon.
I went to him probably 10 years ago. He fixed my shattered wrist. Therapy was stretching fingers. I had my ankle broken in 2 places. Did a good job there too!
The absolute best orthopedic surgeon in the area, he only cares about his patients well being never doing unnecessary surgery. He worked on my ankle a few years ago and it went great, he's become our family surgeon and just today did a procedure on my granddaughter and it went great. Don't go anywhere else

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
