One of most knowledgeable surgeons I have ever met. Dr. Huber made precise diagnosis from CT scans which PA from ER at Franciscan completely missed. He is competent and knowledgeable. He genuinely cares for the patient and treats with the least invasive methods. He also explained very thoroughly and even made an effort to connect with family members through the phone call as COVID prohibited anyone to be with the patient in the hospital. Strongly recommend him.

I cannot recommend Dr. Huber enough. He is a skilled surgeon of course, but he distinguishes himself with his excellent bedside manner, and his willingness to talk with and relate to his patients.

Dr Huber is excellent.!! !! He is the most compassionate, caring doctor in Lafayette. He really cares about his patients and goes the extra mile. You couldn’t get a more skilled surgeon anywhere.

I have had 2 procedures performed by Dr Huber in a very compassionate, professional manner after he thoroughly explained options. I feel fortunate that he was recommended by my Dermatologist.

I went in to the ER for an emergency appendectomy. Dr. Huber was my surgeon and went into great detail before I went in on what the two different operations could be depending how bad it looks once they could see it. I mentioned in passing that I was new to the area and couldn't find a therapist as I was getting discharged, and he has a social worker down to see me before I left to help me. I saw him for my post op surgery today and he was on time, didn't rush through the appointment, showed me photos and explained everything that happened. Then followed up on if I had been contacted by a therapist. He was one of the best surgeons I have ever had.

I had to have emergency surgery which ended up being pretty serious surgery. He was wonderful he always made me feel calm (or tried) the aftercare was amazing he wasn't a doctor who cut you open then threw you out of the hospital. I would recommend him to anyone needing surgery. He listens and is compassionate, find a surgeon with a good bedside manor today, rare!! Thank you Dr Huber!
