He was fully tuned into what I was saying, very kind and polite. I had fallen on a previous knee replacement and that surgeon has since retired, so I was without anyone to check out my damage. My aunt had a terrible experience when she had her knee replacement and I was wanting someone recommended and with a good record. My family doctor recommended Dr. Wissel plus my brother who has both knees replaced by him. I was very happy with him, how he explained everything and advised more pictures of my knee. I am impressed!

Dr. Swanson was my doctor for years when he told me he was going to retire I asked him who he would recommend, he told me Dr. Wissel. I have seen him twice and I really like him I feel he understands my issues and I feel very confident in his ability to help me. I have very strong scar tissue and Dr. Wissel listened and he is very caring makes me feel like I can trust him and keep him as my doctor for many years.....Here it is 2022 and I finally had my first knee replacement and Dr whistle was the one who did it he was completely awesome had the second knee done the end of September and again completely awesome I highly recommend him to anyone who needs orthopedic care

This was my first visit to get my knees evaluated. Dr. Wissel listened to my concerns and explained options without being pushy. I never felt rushed and he took lots of time with me. I felt he was very confident and reassuring that he could help me. I would definitely recommend him. Hopefully he will end the pain I have suffered for years and give me back a normal life.

He listened intently to my concerns. He explained my X-rays to me so I understood them. His diagnosis was exact and correct. I was in and out in two hours. My pain is completely gone. My 81 year old legs feel like 35 again. Don’t waste your time going anywhere else. He’s the best!!
