Very kind. Actually listens to you. Explains things to you in a manner that is easy to understand. I have been seeing him for years and I have never once had a bad experience. Always get a prompt follow up call with test results. Easy to schedule - never have to wait months.

Dr Barkdoll is the most compassionate, kindest, gentlest person I've ever known. Plus he's a wonderful doctor who listens and trusts his patient's understanding, concerns and fears. The medical field and world are so much better with him in it. He is also a wonderful Christian who lives out his faith in the office and in the community.

My wife goes here and sees Dr. Barkdoll he's always been very polite and professional. I pray that everyone is lucky enough to have a Dr like this in their life. He's also very compassionate. I am a Christian and these are qualities we always looked for in a Dr but unfortunately never found till him.

It is rare that a physician these days takes time to really listen to his patients. I was under Dr. Barkdoll's care for years and was routinely astonished by his concern, humility, kindness, and thoroughness. His staff and patients are treated like an extension of his family, given his full attention and wisdom. I also appreciated his demeanor when our viewpoints diverged. As we are settling into a new locale, I can only hope to find a family physician as well-rounded and capable as Dr. Dan.

I worked with Dr. Barkdoll many years ago. He was consistently rude and condescending to me. The way a doctor treats his staff says a lot about the doctor himself.

Dr. Barkdoll is an excellent physician, showing care for his patients and willing to think "outside the box" if necessary. He is knowledgeable, but at the same time knows when to refer to a specialist. I highly recommend him.
