I suffered from extreme back pain for a year, every day life was hard for me, I never hear anything good about back surgeries, I was scared. Dr. Mackinlay done my back surgery last month and I now have my life back, he really does a good job, I’m forever grateful for this doctor, he also makes you feel comfortable with zero judgment. He is the best doctor around, don’t waist your time with other doctors. He’s the best!

Dr Kenneth MacKinaly is the BEST at his job.. After 25 yrs of failed Back Surgeries Limping and living with Pain Dr. MacKinlay gave me my life back. Nortons Kings Daughters Hospital is Lucky to have him. I wish I could give more then 5 Stars. He deserves at least a MILLION, DR KENNETH MACKINLAY is my SUPER MAN.

This guy! I have numerous issues and Dr. MacKinlay has helped me tremendously with all of them. He cares not only about health issues that fall under his scope of practice but also wants to help you find providers to help you with problems outside of his field. He is very kind & competent but also has a sense of humor. I need that to help me feel comfortable with a doctor. His staff are also just the sweetest people. I can’t say enough good things about this doctor and his office. I hope he never leaves this area…we need him.

There is no doctor better than Dr. MacKinlay. If you’re searching for a doctor who listens to your needs and then provides solutions, look no further. My husband and I highly recommend him!

My wife Nancy had extensive lower back surgery performed last year by Dr MacKinlay and his staff. They did a wonderful job and her healing progressed well. Dr MacKinlay explained everything in terms we could understand. There is so much more I could say about him but I think you get my point. We are so lucky to have such a talented and caring physician in our area.

I visited Dr. MacKinlay for the first time in January 2022. I wanted to get some relief from lower back pain, and PT had been no help at all. Dr. MacKinlay was able to determine through examination and confirm through X-rays, Ct scan, and MRI that the root of my pain was in my cervical spine. In mid May he operated and I received a C6 corpectomy with C5 and C7 fusion. The difference this made in my quality of life is amazing! I am seven weeks out from surgery today. I was able to stop wearing my cervical collar as of my six week follow up. I have not taken pain medications for any spinal issue in several weeks, and I am able to do what i love with minimal if any discomfort. Dr. MacKinlay was able to explain and demystify the surgical procedure, and was very attentive to assure both my questions and those of my husband were addressed and thoroughly explained. I can't thank him enough for what he has done. I know several other patients, and we all have a great opinion of Dr. MacKinlay.

I'm still pinching myself that I found a doctor of this caliber in a small town hospital...L3, 4, and 5 were pinching my spinal cord and I couldn't walk...bed, toilet, and chair were my world for a month...I just passed my 12 week checkup with flying colors, and the pain is GONE...if you need back surgery, he's the real deal...

Dr MacKinlay did my neck surgery and when I opened my eyes I knew he had helped me I'm on the mend and feeling better so thank you for being an excellent doctor

Dr. MacKinlay is the best of the best! From his bedside manner to the thoroughness of his exams I could not ask for more in a doctor. He is kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and truly cares about his patients. His is a huge asset to KDH and the town of Madison, IN.

Did my surgery 2 years ago . Had no problems .He even called to check on me after surgery. He is the best surgeon ever I would go to no one else except him great, kind , caring what you would want in your Dr.
