My annual visit; Dr. Schilt was very thorough as usual, easy to talk with as we discussed my present and future health. My heart attack 8 years ago was just prior to running a marathon( I didn’t by the way, instead Dr. Schilt inserted a stent).

We discussed all the test results.Dr Schilt did an examination and throughly discussed the reasons for what was happening, ordered a blood test for one remaining check to see if my thyroid had any issues, and put me on a new medication which has controlled my heart rate so far. Between him and his nurseMandy they have taken excellent care of me since i moved to Indiana seven years ago!

My husband has been seeing Dr. Schilt for over 20 years and we feel that he is the best. This week when I found myself needing his help, he was equally wonderful to me. Dr. Schilt asked the perfect questions to help me explain what was going on. He is always on top of the newest things going on in cardiology. My husband and I have always felt that he recognizes us as people, not just patients. Frankly, we think he is the most competent and caring physician we’ve ever known.. He also has the very best staff, including his NP, Mandy Hook. She is knowledgeable, efficient and incredibly kind. They are a fantastic team.

Dr Schilt has always been thorough about going over my conditions and the various surgeries and medicines available with the pros and cons of each so we can arrive at the best solution. This has worked great for over 30 years
