This fabulous surgeon actually deserves more than five stars, this man gave me back my life. He did both of my knee replacements three months apart (May and August 2023) and the outcome is just surreal (aside from the regular expected surgical pain of course). My case was also a risky one because I have metal allergies. His expertise, knowledge and confidence guided me through these trying times, where I was often wondering if i’d ever be able to walk again without excruciating pain or end up in a wheelchair. He took his time explaining everything to me, all the particulars of what his plans were for my knees, was upfront about all the risks, and answered all of my questions without ever making me feel rushed… and believe me, I had A LOT of questions. Dr. Kim shines with a positive persona and exudes true compassion to his patients and their family members, his staff, his coworkers and colleagues. This was especially evident when I saw him conversing with his Surgical Residents. From the moment right before they had me doze off to a nice sleep at the beginning of the surgery and also at the end of the surgery as I was starting to lightly awake, I heard his articulate mentorship explaining what he was doing and why he was doing it. Hearing that gave me the utmost comforting feeling especially after going through such a major surgery. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Kim, he is truly amazing. Keep shining that light Dr. Kim! Dr. Kim is that amazing combination of knowledge, caring, and kindness. As his patient, I felt he was always available during every step of my knee replacement surgery (pun intended 🤭).
