Dr. Chae is a very thorough and kind doctor. He wanted me to understand what was going on with hands and shoulder including possible outcome. I actually learned something and wasn’t just passed through a process. Additionally, the process of getting through exam, testing, scheduling and surgery was remarkably quick and well executed. The nursing and support staff worked with the doctor as a team. And they were happy, not grumpy or impatient. Dr. Chae is obviously a leader of this team.

I went in to see Dr. Chae not knowing anything about shoulder surgery except what my dad went through 30+ yrs ago, so I wasn’t excited about this option. Dr. Chae assured me about it and I actually just rested in his assurance. Surgery went great, I’m 2 weeks post surgery and have most of my range of motion back. Now I’m working for the next 6 weeks to prepare for my other shoulder to be done. He’ll decide then when I can have it done. Yes I’m thankful God led me there.

Dr Chae was excellent …. On time (Even early) very thorough, very personable, and I actually enjoyed my visit. He treated my knee pain and knew exactly what I needed. It feels better already ! Thank you Dr Chae !!

Dr Chae repaired a full rotator cuff tear for me and would be my first choice if I were to need any type of procedure in the future. If asked for my opinion, I would definitely recommend him to family/friends. Dr Chae is a complete professional, personable and very thorough and detailed when explaining what to expect before and after the procedure. I am very thankful and grateful I chose Dr Chae to perform my procedure!

Dr Chae I am sure is a very capable Dr. I ended up not having any work done by him. But his personality leaves a lot to be desired. Very arrogant and as most Dr's anymore, doesn't take the time to really listen to you.

I was referred to Dr. Chae by my physician after I was told an xray of my shoulder showed no injury, but arthritis. She said she wanted to get another opinion. Dr. Chae showed me the xray and pointed out that there was arthritis , but there was also a bone on bone problem that was causing more pain then the arthritis. He stated it could be helped by surgery, but he suggested we try shot first that could ease or end the pain. He also that if the shot didn't help he could perform surgery later. I was relieved to try the injection first as it would be a less invasive procedure and hopefully I would not have to have surgery. Dr. Chae was very nice and answered all my questions. Especially by showing me the xray and pointing out more than one treatment possibility. I would and have recommended Dr.Chae and Muncie-CIO to my friends and family. Many thanks to Dr. Chae and the staff at CIO-MUNCIE. BONNIE COWAN
