During the exam I kept expressing I could not see any of the letters clearly. I told her I work with type every day and I'm a pro at recognizing letter forms even when they are unclear. The first pair of contacts they tried to fit me with were only to correct my astigmatism, i immediately called back and complained i couldn't see. I had to set 4 ft from a 50inch tv just to play Halo. The doctor tried to fit me again with a pair of contacts and when I told her I was seeing double she said i just needed to wear them longer. I wore them for 2 days and seeing double never went away. I finally took them out during a wedding reception and went without. The office was unable to keep track of the information i gave them. Even contacted my old eye doctor and tried to give me the same prescription I already had even though I expressed when i came in that the prescription never seemed right.
