I did not get a call from this office after I was referred by my endocrinologist and then my PCP. I called the office and I was told that because my Creatinine level was 2.5, I will not usually be seen until 2 months. At my appointment, I waited 45 minutes inside the exam room and I finally had to ask the front desk if they have forgotten about me. In 2 minutes Dr. Barrido showed up. She requires her patient to wear mask or she will not see patient. However, the rest of the staff in the clinic are not required to wear one.! Dr. Barrido knows her stuff and a good educator. I just felt that she was rushing and did not want to have conversations outside her questions. I have a follow up appointment scheduled and I’ll see whether my initial impressions were right.

Dr Barrido and her staff have taken very good care of me for some time now. She explains the progression of my disease at each visit, my options and the treatment plan she has for me. She has my confidence.

This will be another "welcomed" year to be in the "trusted" care of Dr. Barrido. She and her staff are awesome! She's always pleasant and very informative with each visit. She explains in detail, your current progress that day. If she makes a change in your medications for example, she will explain in detail the reasons why & how it will or will not affect you! I learn something new every visit!

Overall it was a good visit. We got to where we needed to be.... I don’t believe she was ready for my appointment. Meaning, she didn’t review my test results and health information before hand.
