My husband is a patient of Dr. Rao. My husband and I have been nurses for 48 and 47 years respectively. We have had the pleasure of working with phenomenal providers over the years. We could not be happier with the care Dr. Rao has provided. Kind, caring, attentive and incredibly intelligent, he is all that you would want your physician to be. He listens to the wishes and feelings of my husband, takes time to understand my feelings and perspective and helps us to collaboratively make the best decisions for my husband’s care. While we do go to Chicago for some care, there is no need to go to the city for best in class urological care. You’ll find it in your own backyard with Dr. Rao. Posted in collaboration with my husband who relies on me for access to google. ;)

On March 8, 2022, Dr. Rao performed Cystoscopy Photoselective Vaporization of my prostate (GreenLight Laser Therapy?). Six weeks later I was in Africa helping organize the construction of drinking water wells in rural villages. What can I say??? Thank you Dr. Rao.

Our experience (my partner and I) with Dr Rao was wonderful. He is very patient and comfortable to be around. Did not make us feel rushed and always encouraged us to ask questions. Great guy, could not recommend him enough.

Dr Rao has been exceptional. He has a wonderful bedside manner and takes a very personal approach with his clients, at least that has been my experience. Dr Rao has called me directly to discuss test results and has even helped me with scheduling appointments. I would definitely refer friends and family to Dr Rao as needed.
