Dr.Wischmeyer is a awesome Surgeon.I had Gastric Bypass and Gallbladder removed February 21,2022 and she’s been awesome since my first appointment with her such a warm hearted and sweet person and loves what she does and wants the best for her patients at the end of the day she takes her time and very understanding I loved my experience with her and still does her staff is also great .I’ve referred a lot people to her and they also love her as well.

I had my gallbladder removed and am having complications. Can’t get a return call or appointment. I’ll be seeking a new doctor.

I've been seeing Dr. Wischmeyer since May 2020 for my Bariatric Surgery. Dr. Wischmeyer performed a VSG, Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy on me in November 2020. She is an amazing surgeon with a great bedside manner. I always enjoy going to my required visits with her as she is always so excited to see her patients progress. She listens to you and takes the time with you in the office and does not make you feel like you are being rushed out of the office. I had no complications at all after my surgery and I'm about 8 months post op and already down over 95 pounds. My BMI has gone from a 42 to a 28 and I am so happy for being able to have had the Bariatric Surgery and for Dr. Wischmeyer being my surgeon. I highly recommend her to anyone considering Bariatric Surgery. She is such a great surgeon.

Dr Wischmeyer made me feel at ease from the first pre surgery appointment until the final after surgery appointment. All my questions and concerns were addressed in a professional manner. I felt like my concerns were hers. Would highly recommend Dr Wischmeyer

Dr. Sandra Wischmeyer is hands down the best Surgical Doctor in the state of Indiana,, well actually the world to me...from her bed side manner. Her professionalism..the way she informs you of what going on...how she goes above and beyond what's ever need for her patients...Dr. Wischmeyer has given me my life back in so many ways... to be able to live life without pain and have great days again.. words could never say how appreciative I'm am...for everything she did for me... and I was a tough case...but she had the Knowledge to get another great Doctor to assist..and make sure that I would get the best possible care and attention needed...i thank her so much for caring enough..She has given me a New Life....

Dr. Wischmeyer and staff at Michigan City top notch! They were as thorough as can be. Dr. W is doing big things. You can just tell how pleased everyone is with her skill level. She's going to be a big name, if she's not already!!

Dr. Wischmeyer was always very professional, thorough, and had an excellent "bedside manner”.

I saw Dr. Wischmeyer for quite a personal, embarrassing physical problem and I was very apprehensive to see a new doctor about it. From the time she entered the room, Dr. Wischmeyer was so pleasant. We discussed my health history, reviewed my current medications and then, moved on to her examination of my condition. By then, she had put me at ease by her kind, caring and understanding approach. After her exam, she recommended a course of treatment and explained some challenges in healing this area. However, she was encouraging that ongoing treatment and time would result in healing! I have seen Dr. Wischmeyer multiple times since that 1st visit. She continues to offer consistent, kind, caring treatment. I appreciate her professional, proactive approach, her patience in answering questions and her clear explanations. I would gladly recommend Dr. Wischmeyer, finding it refreshing to see a doctor of her expertise and kind care who actively listens and includes her patient in discussion.

Dr. Wischmeyer is a skilled surgeon who has shown great concern and care in my treatment for Gall Bladder issues. The surgery went very well and she kept my husband and me informed throughout the process. Thank you Dr. Wischmeyer!!!
