My mother saw this physician last week. He had a horrible bedside manner, was rude and demanding. My mother is a sweet, meek woman. I work in healthcare and know docs are human too, but there is no reason to be flat out rude to a patient- ever. She came on time and prepared to her appointment. He walked in the room and told her “sit down” and pointed to the chair. Then he told her “get up on the table” and pointed at the exam table. She had her legs crossed as she didn’t know that her legs needed to be uncrossed and rather than ask her he sort of slapped at her feet. Maybe he was having a bad day, but he needs to learn how to be direct without sounding so rude.
