Healthlinc Mishawaka's Online Review Report Card

I had called this location a couple of times in the past 2 days because I had symptoms of covid. They gave me succinct instructions on how to get the tests and then when I arrived, I called them and they told me that they would come out with the tests. They gave me 2 for each person in my household and the woman that brought it out was super kind. Very great clinic and a very great help to the community!

These people would not let me accompany my girlfriend to the back. This was our first appt together and were excited to go through this pregnancy together. I showed up to be there for here and they wouldn't let me be by her side like I didn't even matter. Terrible service...and slow. Terribly slow and highly disrespectful..

My husband is a wheelchair bound stroke patient and I am his only caregiver. It is not always easy to get him to the office depending on what kind of day he's having. Since I answer all of the questions and all they do is take his a1c, I don't know why this can't be handled by telehealth. That said, Ashley will barely refill his prescriptions unless he is seen. Right this moment I am out of three of his blood pressure medications and have called the office three times today. So a stroke patient should risk his health and go without life saving medications because he is wheelchair bound and cannot make a routine wellness appointment in January weather. Is this even ethical?

The doctor's office in Mishawaka is ok. Slow with referrals but I expect they're a little overwhelmed at the moment. I would have given a much better rating if I could contact the office directly. The central call center thing needs to go. It's horrible knowing that I have to get through all these prompts and no this isn't a medical emergency (duh. Just because a lot of the patients are Medicaid doesn't mean we're stupid) all this just to ask simple questions when I know exactly who I need to talk to etc. I usually just push zero that way when I finally talk to a person I'm not already angry.

Arnie is one of the best nurse practioners out there. Takes me seriously and tries to solve my health problems. Before that I had another doctor who was also the same.Healthlinc seems to try it's best to have people working there who care and that sincerely matters.

I love this place. The staff at the front counter have always been really nice. But sometimes my actual doctor herself can try to control my life and tell me who I should and shouldn't date and you know personal things about my life that she shouldn't be in just bc shes against males. That's not okay. But all an all it's a good place.

Have been told multiple times that we have a PCP and they continue to call multiple times an hour demanding a wellness visit.

I've seen a few practitioners whom I haven't cared for, but I now only see Kathleen Long. She always listens to me and trusts me to be the authority on my health. She's willing to explore different options and really cares about me and my well-being. After being dismissed and rushed and left feeling unheard by other doctors, Kathy is a breath of fresh air. She has a very holistic and natural approach, which I really appreciate. I wouldn't see anyone else.

DO NOT use this location if you need meds in a timely manner. After a couple years of pleasant treatment, I called to submit a request to have a prescription renewed. I was told this would take 48-72 hours to complete. After several attempts on my end to communicate with the office (not a single attempt on their end to make contact), I was finally informed now an entire week after the request was submitted that I was denied. It's a good thing my condition does not incur any suffering on my part as I would have been left to suffer for an entire week with no contact whatsoever that an appointment needed to be made and then attended if I were to get this medication. Will not be recommending this location to friends or family

You can never even get through to schedule an appointment. For 3 days I have been trying to schedule an appointment. I just keep getting transferred to an answering machine. I have not received a call back yet either. I would not recommend this facility.
