Have seen Dr Cantieri for 20+ years for a variety of issues. He is absolutely tremendous as a diagnostician and in fact, wrote the textbook for prolotheraapy.

Dr. Mark listens to you and explains what is wrong. He is very knowledgeable and doesn't rush you out. At my first appointment, he spent an hour with me! I have seen him for joint pain in the shoulders, hips, knees and spine. He takes the time to do a through examination and find where it really hurts. He does a lot of injections for pain and his injection skills are superb. His charges are also reasonable. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Mark! If you have chronic joint or back pain, it is definitely worth the time and money to see him.

He is great, only Doctor To help me and now my wife too. He teaches prolotherapy and wrote the book on it. His demeanor is good and bedside manner as well. He knows how to heal . No surgery needed after visits. Repeat no surgery ! !!

This Man is THE Greatest Doctor I have EVER had the pleasure of being in the care of! He actually REALLY cares about the well being of his patients &, would do ANYTHING to ensure that his patients get the treatments that they REQUIRE, to "fix" the problem(s) at hand! My Family & I are eternally grateful to Dr. Cantieri for demonstrating this, 1st hand, in my situation! To us, he IS "a God"! I was in desperate need of the 2nd "part" of a 2 part surgery. Insurance had already reviewed my surgeon's documentation of my current condition &, his plea that, "This patient has already tried EVERYTHING, by conventional means, possible! She IS in dire need of surgery". Insurance, unfortunately, did NOT agree with the surgeon. Dr. Cantieri, seeing me time after time, come into his office with my pillow, in tears just from the 25 minute ride from my house to his Office, UNABLE to sit, AT ALL, for MONTHS now, Blood Pressure usually always dangerously high at ~190/110 (stroke level!), finally did what he felt he NEEDED to do, for the sake of his patient; Something even "I", as a Nurse, did not know a Dr. had "the ability to do"! Dr. Cantieri called my Insurance &, requested an "Emergency Review" be done, on my behalf. This meant that Insurance had a deadline (which, I believe, was 21 days from the day he called) they had NO CHOICE but to meet! They HAD to gather enough of the Board of Trustees Members together to review the 50+ pages of Dr. Cantieri's documentation on WHY "I", his patient, was in DIRE NEED of the requested surgery, ASAP! Also, Dr. Cantieri had sent in, along with his documentation, a "well-crafted, passive-aggressive" (in MY opinion, Lol!!) Letter, Appealing Insurance's Denial of my Surgery! After hearing NOTHING from Insurance by week #2, Dr. Cantieri's Nurse, Kris, called & had a VERY STERN conversation with the Witchy Woman, in charge of the Pre-Determination Department at my Insurance Company. This woman, who Insurance had assigned to me as an 'advocate', had NOTHING but horrible, rotten things to say about me! "Well! She calls EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK &, TWICE ON SUNDAYS!" Dr. Cantieri's Nurse came back with, "How DARE you say something LIKE THAT, about 'OUR' patient? YOU do NOT KNOW THIS GIRL... AT ALL! YOU do NOT SEE HER, come in here with her pillow, unable to sit now for MONTHS! She is NOT comfortable laying down either! She is "REALLY" NOT comfortable in ANY position! She can only stand comfortably for MAYBE a few minutes! She LIVES, DAY AFTER DAY, with a pain level of 8 to 10! EIGHT TO TEN! And, that is ON 2 of the highest doses a person can be on, on 2 of THE strongest Narcotics out there AND, a muscle relaxer!" Insurance Lady, "Well.....ummmm... it's NOT that I'm NOT sympathetic! It's out of my hands, REALLY! "I" do NOT have ANY pull or ANY say on WHAT HAPPENS now! It's TRULY out of my hands!" Kris gets in a few more "digs" &, suddenly, this REALLY horrible excuse for a human being, who is USE TO running her mouth AND, getting her way (it seems), doesn't know WHAT to say! This woman calls Dr. Cantieri's Office, THE VERY NEXT DAY, to "happily" announce that, "Your patient's documentation and, Dr. Cantieri's Appeal Letter have been reviewed &, your patient's surgery has been apoproved!" I am able to schedule my surgery, later that day! It isn't for 6 more weeks so, Dr. Cantieri, wanting me to stay as comfortable as possible until surgery, gives me a nerve block in my back/hips/buttocks areas for the next 6 weeks. At this point, we had ALREADY started the nerve blocks, 2 weeks prior. And, NOT having heard from ME, since surgery, Dr. Cantieri, who was going out of town, to spend time with his Family, has Carmen, his receptionist, CALL ME TO SEE HOW I AM DOING!! I mean! I LOVE THIS MAN!! "THIS MAN" who, just also happens to be my Pain Management Doctor, for the last 8 WONDERFUL years! Is calling to check on "how you're doing, before he goes out of town for a couple of weeks, with his Family". REALLY?!?!? Yes, Really. BEST MAN AND, DOCTOR, IN THE HISTORY OF "EVER" I MEAN IT! There is NOT a person, Doctor or not, MORE CARING, than "THIS" Man, "THE" Dr. Cantieri!

Dr Cantieri is an excellent physician who actually cares about his patients. His treatment of my diagnosis on my first visit corrected the issue. When I experienced additional issues over the years with my back again his diagnosis and treatment was correct. If your looking for Pain meds and not treatment to eliminate the issue you Shouldn't waste your time or his.

I have referred family and friends.

He misdiagnosed me. Then, he didn't do anything. Then, he charged me a ton of money. Don't waste your time. In addition, this doctor (and I use that word loosely) has a bad temper and a huge ego.
