Ronald Downs's Online Review Report Card

I cannot explain how sad I feel after having cosmetic surgery with Dr Downs. The scars are terrible and misplaced, not where he said they would be, placed in a way as to not be so noticeable. Have had so much trouble I have to find a another Plastic Surgeon to correct his mistakes and spend more money, except the scars are now here to stay. He’s very cocky and flippant and just basically doesn’t really care. Do yourself a BIG favor, STAY AWAY FROM HIM.

Not.....I was totally disfigured...after my breast augmentation.....I had to have Skin removed from my leg to fix my boobs...no I just look like horror movie....all because I was told to use A&D ointment on my stitches...(DO NOT EVER DO). All my stitches dissolved and had to go 4 months with a hole big as a softball for a boob....and he didn't care.....not to mention I had a new born also

They sent in a pre-d without any measurements. They even estimated my weight and height. I called my insurance company and they said that his office needed to re-submit it. I called his office and they told me I needed to do it, but according to my insurance company I can’t. It has to be done by a doctor. I also requested an estimate without insurance since I could easily pay for it up front. Nothing. I guess they just don’t want my business. Whatever it is, they will not receive positive feedback from me.

Waste of Time

Completely inferior. Still suffering with my eyes. Go to Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Save yourself some suffering.

Doesn't give a crap about his patients and its clear he is only in it for the money. If they screw it up the will offer a revision. Well how about you get it the right the first time.

Dr Downs is a renowned surgeon who teaches classes on his surgical techniques. It would be unethical to to do surgery on a 60 year old over weight breast cancer patient because his reputation would get tarnished. First of all you take my 50.00, I spend 1/2 hour filling out paper work and you treat me like I have no feelings. You explain what is done during reconstruction which was a complete waste my time and you tell me I’m overweight. Guess what I’m done with cancer, I done with surgery and I done because of you. The sad thing is you down care. A pillar in your own community and church but you don’t have one once of compassion.

Dr. Downs is very friendly and in regard to aftercare he was and is always there to help me with any concerns pre and post surgery. He stays up to date on any new surgery techniques and has done a wonderful job on my surgery! Thank you so much!

All I will say is if you wamt someone who cares and is not only after your pocketbook, then keep looking. Horrible experience also need 2nd surgery. Scars are horrible. I did everything by the book except all my research! Very unhappy and he doesn't care.

He did my husbands eye surgery and treated him terribly. He was late for the surgery and we have to go see another speacialist because we think he did something wrong. He can't see out of his eye straight now. He left my husband in sever pain. The nurses couldn't get ahold of him to get him correct pain Meds. He told my husband and myself he should not be in any pain before or after surgery. Wouldn't believe my husband was in severe pain. Day after his surgery he pushed hard on his face.
