At first I thought she was really listening to what I had to say. By the end of that day I realized she wasn't the doctor for me. She wrote me a prescription that was over $1000 for a months supply that she knew my insurance wouldn't cover and when I went to the pharmacy to pick it up, they said my doctor had to sign something for insurance because of the cost. Of course she knew that my insurance would decline and now I have no medication at all and no call back to follow up and try find a new prescription my insurance will cover. It's been a week and I've heard nothing. I had to find out my insurance declined it through my pharmacy because they called my insurance and found out for me. I'll be finding a new doctor. Also, she's about impossible to speak with and good luck getting a call back when they say they will.

I loved her, she listens to your problems, doesn't rush and makes you feel like she really cares and is knowledgeable about all.

I really struggle with Dr. Patel and her business practices. She does not listen to her patients and can be exceedingly difficult if you have any questions or concerns about her treatment plan. She made me feel uncomfortable on several occasions with comments made about my situation. Her receptionist is very rude and makes it difficult to manage the frequent billing, scheduling, and prescription issues Dr. Patel creates. I wish I had read the reviews before choosing her and before I recommended her to others.

Awesome doctor. Good rapport, addresses my issues systemically and throughly. Only down side is she's a popular provider so she's inaccessible at times.

Dr. Smita Patel has gone the extra mile when it comes to my health. I have never felt rushed during our visits in the office or over the phone. She is very knowledgeable and willing to explain her prescribed course of treatment. Her staff have been friendly, knowledgeable, and so helpful. All make me feel comfortable from the time I walk in the door until I leave. I would highly recommend her if you are looking for a professional doctor with a friendly personality.

If I could give 10 stars I would! Dr. Patel is a caring, supportive and excellent psychiatrist. She recently helped us navigate a crisis with my daughter. She truly cares about her patients and their families. Unlike many psychiatrists, Dr. Patel is very relatable and very warm. I would recommend her without qualification.
