I have a keloid which I wanted to get treated because it was painful and itching. From the first five minutes of the first time meeting him, Dr. Wargo recommended having it surgically removed on the spot. I was shocked he would make that suggestion so quickly. I asked to get shots to soften and shrink the scar instead. I was seen for the same procedure by a different provider after Dr. Wargo, who was much more attentive. Lo and behold, I receive a bill months later for Dr. Wargo's appointment (and NOT the other physician's) because he had coded it as medically unnecessary/cosmetic. Absolutely would not recommend because he was not personable nor attentive, makes rash recommendations, and billed incorrectly so I was charged out-of-pocket for the whole procedure.

Dr Wargo is fantastic. I had a concerning skin lesion that he assessed and biopsies very shortly after I contacted his office. He was very professional, kind, and reassuring during the encounter and prompt to contact me after. I could not recommend him highly enough!

Dr Wargo is incredibly procedurally talented and kind. He explains things very well and doesn’t rush. I see him for acne and cosmetics. The best.

Went in to have a few moles removed, something I had done a few years ago elsewhere. Doctor was not personable and did not seem to care about my issues. He used liquid hydrogen to freeze the moles so they would fall off. They never fell off and he missed a couple of them. I was then charged for a surgical procedure. What he did was not "surgical" at all. When I had this done previously, I had gone to a different doctor and only charged an office visit - for a much more thorough exam. Dr. Wargo did not have me disrobe to check for additional moles/issues, only had me lift my shirt. He was not thorough, did not address my issues and overcharged for his service - which did not work anyway. I DO NOT recommend. If I could give him zero stars I would.

Dr. Wargo is the best doctor I’ve ever seen. Not only is he outstanding at cosmetic and surgical dermatology he’s also board certified in Internal Medicine.
