Dr Okotie safely, professionally and kindly guided me through renal cancer. Surgery was great, very little discomfort and I was able to stay positive and strong, thanks to his care and encouragement. He took time to discuss my fears and treatment. He is so appreciated!

Office called to schedule stat referral was seen 2 weeks later, saw the doctor for maybe 2 minutes. He ordered another CT mind you I just had one done and a urine test which he stated no rush you can do it in a few weeks or months. No sir I will do it stat as my referral was stat sent to you for my issues. He said office would call to schedule, 96 hours plus the weekend I never got a call, I called the office and they were so rude even the office manager! I as a patient have never been treated so poorly like I did in this office. I will be calling corporate and be referred to another doctor who cares about their patients. Mind you I am in this same profession and would never treat or speak to a patient like I was treated with this office! Avoid at all cost!

I had a nerf football sized cyst on my right kidney that had over 3 liters of infection and fluid in it that he just wanted to watch! Got a second opinion that said he couldn’t believe I was able to walk! It was compressing my spine, my stomach, my liver and gallbladder and Dr. Boris said was ready to rupture and most likely would have killed me due to all the infection! But Dr. Okotie wanted to just watch it! Very bad and no bedside manner! Just blew me off! Didn’t address my concerns at all and acted like he didn’t care about me at all!

I went to see him twice and both times was seen by office staff only who did not identify themselves. They gave me treatment that became a real problem for me and I ended up going somewhere else.

Went to doctor for chronic kidney stone issues. Doctor immediately put in a dirty catheter which gave me a UTI infection. Never had previous doctors do this before. A week later he pulled out the catheter. UTI infection every since. I call, then come for culture which they always say is bad. They gave my antibiotic trimethoprim which does not help but no one listens. I have done this so many times, what do I do for him doing this to me, I'm living in misery. He did go in and pull out some kidney stones but no xrays were shown to me how many if any I had some. All my other doctors had shown me them before surgery. I just want the UTI fixed this doctors performance gave me. I've had kidney stones 30 years or more. I like this doctor alot but need this UTI issue resolved. I know he's a big shot in the hospital but please help the little guy. I just need help, I'm in pain, getting up going all night and no sleep. Nurses blowing me off now with never no call backs. Feel like I need to bring this up to board at hospital and get a lawyer.

I was seen by the Dr. on 4/30 and was told I needed a CT scan which i had done on 5/8. Went back on 5/16 and the Dr. spent less than 5 min with me. He opened his chart and said "your left kidney is swollen, I'll go in which will take aboit an hour, we'll put you to sleep and go in and take a biopsy to see what's blocking your kidney. Then left the room! After thinking about it i called his office and told them that he really didn't explain anything except i had to have surgery to get a biopsy. I asked to set up an appt. so he could explain it more to me. I was told that I would have to go pick up my CT disc and report so he would have it and the way they talked to me it seemed like it was such a problem for them!! In my opinion this should have been done on the 16th when i was there!! So now I have to go back for a consult pay another office visit. It's just ridiculous the way your treated just because your not as smart as they are!! This man has no bedside manner at all. I need 2nd op

Has care for me for over 3 years and I have never had a issues with labs, medications or quality of care. The best!

Office staff cold,they come off as arrogant. Not friendly at all. And I'm an easy going person who can get along with anyone. The Dr. seems cold and distant,no bedside manner at all. And inflicted intense amounts of pain upon me on 2 procedures done in his office.And on the last procedure they offered no instructions on aftercare.Just told me I could get dressed and leave. I went out in my truck and bled all over my leather seat and wanted to cry,the pain was so intense.
