List of Wail Asfour's Reviews
Excellent Cardiovascular SurgeonDoctor's Kesani & Asfour always take the time to explain everything to me and they're always busy tending to emergencies. Quite frankly I'd say they're the best! They saved my life and I'll not trust anyone else but them.
Have been a patient of Dr. Asfour since 2008 when fortunately for me he treated me for an er visit. He placed two stents in my heart arteries. I then continued to see him regularly for heart maintenance. Then on Christmas Day 2019 my heart stopped and he implanted a pacemaker immediately even though he was on vacation. When I needed him he was there. I believe he saved my life. He is compassionate and without arrogance.
Dr. Asfour has been a god send. I've been to the ER 5 times, spent 10 days in the Hospital, had 4 blood transfusions and been in pain and absolute misery over the last year. My previous doctors had no clue what was going on and didn't seem to care. My daughter recommended Dr. Asfour and on my first visit he personally called specialists colleagues to go over my test results. And because of that level of care I finally have a diagnosis and the beginnings of a treatment plan that go beyond my previous doctor's plan of "live with it" or "eat liver." ("Eat liver" to a person who was in the hospital and getting transfusions because of being dehydrated and malnourished because of the inability to eat!). My only regret is not having found Dr. Asfour a year ago.
Dr. Asfour is very kind and caring. My husband went to the ER with a heart attack. Dr. Asfour took care of him. He put in a stent and a few weeks later my husband needed another stent and Dr. Asfour did that procedure also. I'm so glad that my husband is in this doctor's care.
Initially started out good. Not any more.My mother had an appointment in January that was cancelled because doc going out of town. Reschedule for February. Appointment cancelled again because doc going out of town. Reschedule for beginning of March. Cancelled AGAIN. Went this week. After waiting for 1 hour went up to desk. Dr. Asfour not even in the building! After another 30 minutes we left. The nurse practitioner started to see the patients. If Dr. Asfour got called into hospital for an emergency case, the staff should have been notified and the staff should have told all the patients waiting and given us a choice to wait or reschedule. When I have gone to an OB/GYN appointment and doc gets called for delivering a baby, the staff always lets patients know.At one of the last visits I did with my mom, Dr. Asfour was busy on his phone instead of focusing on the patient that was in front of him. If there was an issue he needed to address, he should have excused himself and left the room and came back when he could focus on the patient right in front of him.
Dr. Is OUTSTANDING! I trust him totally.
I went to Dr. Asfour two weeks a go for s heart check up. My appointment was at 9 am. I was nervous but the nurse was explained to me about the tests I will be exposed to me and she stayed with me. Then I saw dr Asfour he explained the test results to me I was very happy with him. He took his time. He was kind and caring.
Started out pretty good, then went downhill. I went to the ER, was admitted to the hospital and had a battery of heart tests done. EKGs, Dopplers, Echocardiograms, etc...This was a fact finding mission in general. After I had spent all night and the next day testing, Dr. Asfour visits me in my room at 9:30PM. My first question was about the test results. He hadn't even looked at them yet. He had no answers or anything for me BUT said I needed to see him in his office after I was released. FOR WHAT? I WAS STILL BEING TREATED!!!WARNING: This doctor's billing department will absolutely take you to small claims court for ANY outstanding balance.
Called the office today and the number said was not a working number! What the hell?
Dr. Asfour saved mother's life over five years ago and he has not stopped his care and treatment for her since he installed stints to improve her health. Dr. Asfour is attentive to his patients and he treats you like you are a celebrity each time he sees you.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
