I was referred by Baptist health Floyd ER. I called on Thursday and got an appointment on Monday. I then got a call first thing Friday morning telling me I missed my appointment and to call the office. The person on the phone told me that my appointment was for Thursday at 3:15 and I missed it so I would have to rebook which would be over a month out. I told her my side and that I would like to keep that Monday. I was informed that Monday was never open. I was told they had a cancellation and they had moved me and I didn’t show up so now my appointment will be over a month out. I tried to tell her I got no call or voicemail. They only time I spoke with them is when I called and booked for Monday. I was told it was documented in the computer therefore I’m wrong. I don’t know how the Office stays open if the desk staff are so hostile first thing in the morning.

Dr Jabbar displayed impressive insights and tenacity in the treatment my mother's lymphocitic colitis, getting positive results where others in his field had failed. He is an excellent listener and is well organized for his office visits.

I've been seeing Dr. Jabbar for about 4 yrs now. He is very friendly, but will try to hurry up the appt. if you let him. As far as his staff, in the beginning they were great. Now that they've moved to a bigger facility they don't seem as friendly. Everything is handled through voice mail, it seems, and you are lucky to get a return call the same day. I would say from what I've heard of the other doctors in that group, he is the most knowledgeable of the bunch.
