List of Mark Bronner's Reviews
I have seen Dr Bronner since I was 18. I had a colonoscopy back in January which was great. I have been having bowel issues for 2 months and have lost 25 lbs. I tried making an appointment but the receptionist was so rude and told me I needed a referral from my family dr which I have never had to have. This office is not the same without Dr Bronner. I now have to find a new gastroenterologist. Highly disappointed and will never refer anyone here again.
Told me I had no options but to have all of my intestines taken out (leaving me with an irreversible colostomy bag for the rest of my life) or he’d quit seeing me as a patient. Allowed No discussion whatsoever. ?? So I found a different physician. That was 11 years ago. I’m doing very well on a medication regimen and still have all my intestines. Wow, was he wrong. I am SO thankful I didn’t take his word for it because clearly he has no idea what he’s talking about.
Happened some time ago but went for the first time, I waited five hours (yes, FIVE HOURS) to be charged over $400 to be told that, “yes try changing your diet and take over the counter omeprazole.” Bill listed a short conversation at the highest level in medical coding. This place is both poorly run and will charge you out the wazoo. I never went back and found another practitioner.
Dr. Bronzer treated me for over 20 years for Crohn’s disease. I took high doses of prednisone and injectables during that time. I also received Monthly IV treatments at home. In late 2014, I became very sick and searched elsewhere. In 2015 I was hospitalized for a week and had numerous tests. I weighed only 98 pounds. When I was released I had a new doctor, and DID NOT HAVE CROHN’S. I have suffered numerous things as a result of the dosages of steroids I had taken for so many years.
Dr. Bronner performed both a Upper GI and a Colonoscopy on me and it was one of the easiest I have ever had done. His office I visited before hand was excellent as was his associates. He is an excellent doctor explained everything to me very thoroughly. Very comfortable and happy would recommend highly and go back in future.
Terrible office staff. Didn't even get to see the doctor had to wait over an hour and a half. I was told my appointment at 2:45 then they told me mine is at 3:15. Which several other patients were in there and I heard them telling them different times as well. Staff got very rude with me. Will not go back and would not recommend this to anyone. Pretty sad that the office staff has run off patients and the dr such a good doctor.
I am EXTREMELY fortunate to have him as my doctor he is one of the most KIND,CARING and EXTREMELY COMPASSIONATE doctors I have ever had he takes the time with you to explain your condition he makes sure he answers all your questions and concerns his staff is friendly his office is always clean If you are looking for the BEST GI doctor here in Louisville look no further because he is the one
Been with Dr. Bronner over 20 yrs. with treatment and management of crohn's. Love His Office Staff, Assistant Stephanie Murphy PA-C and Dr. Bronner! If you are fortunate enough to retain His services you will not regret it!
I recently had an upper GI endoscopy. Dr. Bronner began on time and afterwards explained very clearly what he had seen. I have also seen two of his nurse practitioners, both of whom are very helpful. I like Dr. Bronner and his staff. His is a very busy practice and it may be difficult to get an immediate appointment unless your internist intercedes on your behalf.
Very angry with me. I had brought a friend with me and he yelled and implied my illness was my fault which it may be but being harsh and rude only makes me upset and doesn’t foster confidence in any treatment plan.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
