Mohammad Majd's Online Review Report Card

In 2003 I arrived at Norton Audubon Hospital; unable to walk due to a dislocated disk and bone spurs embedded in my sciatic nerve. Dr. Richard Jelsma took me apart and removed my spurs and removed and replaced my L5 lumbar disk. He took me on short notice and I was his 2nd to last patient before he retired. I will be eternally grateful for his excellent work. Dr. Mohammad Majd put me back together and gave me the ability to walk and work without pain and they guaranteed the work for 15 years. It is now 19 years and still working as promised. I cannot thank them enough.

Took me two years to find him again but well worth the wait

I was told Dr. Majd retired, but have found out that's inaccurate. Does anyone know if he's still practicing? I was planning to have disc replacement surgery and really trusted him.

On 11/18/2019 Dr. Majd did my 3rd cervical fusion. Less than 2 weeks later I was back in the ER because the incision was oozing puss so bad my hair was soaked. I was admitted and had emergency surgery. The staph infection entered my body during surgery 11/18 per the 2nd surgeon. He knew this because the infection started at the bone and came out instead of the outside going in. Since that time the incision has been reopened 6 times and I am still on antibiotics. I will never be the same and my pain is horrific. Dr. Majd left the practice soon after he returned from his vacation and the office said he retired. To this date I have never heard from or seen him and I hope I never do. I wasnt the only one that got an infection that month. I met a lady in the waiting room that had the same thing but luckily hers was caught sooner and she only had 1 additional surgery. I wish I had never gone back to him for the 3rd surgery on my neck.

Dr Majd to me has been a life saver. When I found him in 2013, I was spending 22 if 24 hours a day laying in bed not being able to get up and move around. I was bbn involved in an accident where a tree had fell from over 60ft and land on me striking straight down on my head causing my spine to be extremely messed up. I have said he had the hand of God when working on me. 17 spine surgeries later and , no I'm not perfect, but after what had happened to me, at least i am out of 75 percent of the pain and I'm not wishing i was dead. And yes i am able to get up and move . One of the best Drs. I can say I have ever met.

I highly recommend Dr. Majd. I was referred to him by my family doctor. He performed my Spinal Fusion, L1-L4 in 2017. He is an awesome surgeon, explained what needed to be done, straight to the point, and in words I understood. Very knowledgeable, and caring man. My surgery was a success, and I was back to work in four months. So thankful for his expertise in giving me my quality of life back.

I too saw Madj for spinal fusion in my neck. I was about to get further surgery lower on my spine by Madj but he moved before it was scheduled. I’ve also been trying to locate him but nobody will tell me anything! If anyone locates him please let me know. Thanks!

I’ve called Floyd to get answers of where Dr. Majd went when he left. They were Very Disrespectful to me and wouldn’t give me Any information. I won’t go to any other surgeon and I also liked Dr. Silva but the office or the hospital won’t give me any information. Nothing but being hateful. I want his phone number!

My primary doctor recommended Dr. Majd. It took around a year to get the surgery scheduled, due to insurance requiring injections first, set of three, each three months apart. After the injections were clearly not going to work, it was time to discuss surgery. He performed my spinal fusion 12-15-17. It was a great success, I was off from work for four months. I will always be thankful for Dr. Majd! He is a competent, compassionate and excellent surgeon. His staff was friendly, and my wait time was never more than 20 minutes. Thank you, Dr. Majd for helping me with my pain, and being able to go back to work!
