Providence - A Diversicare Transitional Care Community's Online Review Report Card

Providence is a great place. Can’t think of another care center I would consider put my loved one! They really do care.

They don’t come when call light button is hit a family member says she has to wait three hours before they ever come in they are not gently with people who are hurtstate needs to come in this placeSomething will be doneThis place was supposed to be the best place around but they are not and they have favorites in this place who they treat better over othersWe had to move our family member out of this place but they best believe state will be in there to visit them soon

My dad was here sent for rehab after the hospital and this place was AWFUL! He was NOT getting the care he needed, and we ended up moving him to a different facility. When he went in he looked healthy and when we moved him he was frail and had bed sores. Not to mention they kept losing all of his clothes despite us having put his name in all of them! Would give no stars if possible. This place is horrendous.

Do you all not have staff that works there at night?Seems ridiculous that someone would call non stop for 2 hours straight and not one single person picks up the phone.

My mother in law was sent here from the hospital for rehab and this place was absolutely awful....Her room had bugs on the ceiling and spider webs everywhere....Her bed was falling apart. No remote for her tv and her call light was not working. Her roommate kept her tv on all night on the loudest volume. The food she was served was either cold or burnt. We had her transferred to another facility and they also would not order her medicine due to the fact we were moving her. She was also told she could not get a shower due to not being on the schedule and would not even offer to at least give her a bath pan bath to wipe her off. I finally tracked down towels and washcloths and cleaned her up. I would give no stars if possible.

They say it's a smoke-free facility with signs posted for staff and residents and guests there is to be no smoking on or around the premises BUT the nurses smoke right by the door in the 900 hall and then when someone didn't like that two nurses pack a elderly person belongs and took her in there personal car and dropped her off with out contacting anyone at all they will call anybody and everybody to get information about her that's needed and get approvals for this or that or to change something but they will not call when they are removing an elderly patient from their care personally it's no one's business what should a person do

Spacious home like atmosphere. My grandmother enjoys the food and all the wonderful staffing . She was living at home then her balance and mobility started to decline. Out of all the options in care she chose Providence because of all the wonderful staff and most importantly the over all cleanliness . The center met her expectations. Thank you!

I would give zero stars if it were a choice. The leadership at this facility is evil! The license should be revoked! They can’t even keep supplies in stock, putting bottled water instead of distilled water in Cpap machines. No ace bandages for wound care. Run out of washcloths and towels, serve cold food. Don’t take even an animal there! Absolutely horrifying and my mother is in there! The leadership has no respect for humankind! Plain evil!!!

My loved one currently resides in the center. She is receiving quality services. The NURSING TEAM do an outstanding job taking care of mom! The staff is always engaging and helpful its a very positive atmosphere. Everyone comes to work as if it is there second home. The girls work hard and have a huge caring heart.** The SHOWER ROOM IS ALWAYS BEING USED . SPEAKS VOLUMES -THEY TREAT RESIDENT LIKE FAMILY.

I am really happy I made the right choice for my husband by choosing the center for his long term care needs. I can’t lift on him anymore at home hurt my back. I love Providence he has been very happy with his environment. Nursing, dietary and staff are angels! He loves the activities and everyone is so caring!
