List of Southern Indiana Rehabilitation Hospital's Reviews
Absolutely first-rate care. Spotless facility. Friendly and professional staff from the front desk to the skilled therapists. Highly, highly recommended.
I Would give place 10 stars if I could! The rehab at this facility is wonderful! My husband is recovering from Covid+Pneumonia+Blood Clots; in 9 days they have him walking over 500 feet and doing his own shower, and down to 5 liters of oxygen -- after being bedridden for 2 months! We're hoping they let him transition to outpatient pulmonary rehab soon -- the outpatient staff is great too!
I was dropped by the driver in the early afternoon, the driver also rolled me to my room. There, she put me in a chair and it was two hours before I saw another person. Other than my roommate who stays up past midnight watching TV. This is the worst so far of any care facility I've ever been to.
Honestly if I could give 0 zero stars I would. My mom was here for one week and was then put back on the hospital. It was a fight to get her medicine on time and for her trach to be change at all. Most of the nurses either didn’t know how to clean or change a trach either. My mom was having problems breathing and the nurse literally just walked out of the room. They did not listen when she told her therapist that she couldn’t walk due to past surgeries. Her doctor told her the chest X-ray she had done was completely fine, but when she was taken to the hospital not even 24 hours later it was worse then when she first got better. I only seen a doctor twice her week here for maybe 10 minutes if that. Her weekend nurse was rude and asked my mom why she was laying her side because “she wasn’t that sick”. DONT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE.
The face of any facility (the front desk receptionist) needs to be friendly. This facility is no exception.
I was there in late May of this year. The physical therapists are great, the nurses are great. the food is bad, Diane Stephens is horrible. I was there 4 days and on the last day they were pushing to leave so they could fill my bed immediately. Diane Stephens is absolutely horrible. I had no assistance to take my things to my car. I had to use a wheel chair to push my things to my car. Horrible experience.
Would have given it .5 stars if I could - and only that many because while my mom was there she did have only a handful of good nurses and aides. There were a few dangerous lapses of my mom’s care while she was there - and I had to make 3 incident reports with the nurse supervisor in the period of 2 weeks. Absolutely ridiculous. Also several staff members were very rude. I would not recommend taking your loved one there.
Got me back going after a bad motorcycle accident in 02 great therapist
Do not send your loved one here, I beg you. My dad has had to go there twice due to limited options with insurance. This time he was only there one week, now he’s in the hospital fighting fir his life. My mom found out when a doctor called from the hospital. She wasn’t even given the courtesy of a phone call to let her know he was sent to the ER.
1 star is being generous. This is the worse rehab hospital.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
