List of Thomas M. Harris Md's Reviews
Dr Harris seemed thorough and was easy to talk to. He ran test and found out that it was pneumonia brought on by covid-19. If he had a private practice I would go see him!
Was in Er with my mom . Dr Harris Took time to make sure every thing was check .so she was diagnosed and treated correctly. Was easy to talk to. Took time to listen to us.
Never allowed to see Dr Harris. There is a totally incompetent NA Anna Hinton who misread labs concerning 2 serious illnesses. She is not professional and ill educated. This is a dangerous place if you need medical care.
Dr. Harris took care of me recently and was very personable and broke things down for me in a way that wasn't rude. He repeatedly checked in despite the hospital being obviously very busy. I wish he was my regular doctor.
Very rude and dishonest doctor! This place is a joke!
Completely incompetent. Me and my partner came in contact with a number of individuals with Covid 19 and were told by 3 healthcare professionals (and the CDC) that we should be tested for Covid-19. This Dr office told me they only get 3 testing kits and were not going to use one for us. This was after I was told by the receptionist if I do a $50 teledoc visit with the PA that following this we could get tested in the parking of the facility. Therefore I just paid $100 for me and my partner and I was not even given a diagnosis or treatment plan for the serious symptoms that we are experiencing. A few year's ago the receptionist also reassured us a test was covered by our insurance, and then a few weeks later sent us a bill as apparently they were in fact out of network.
A very professional and personable trauma specialist!!! Listens very well and explains in detail any concerns I had. If he didn’t know the answer to something he suggested specific specialties. Was very pleased with his demeanor, professionalism, and treatment.
He was incredibly rude and condescending. He has the bedside manner of a troll. When I asked the nurse if I was allowed to have ice chips, he stormed in and yelled at me as though I were a misbehaved toddler. I have never seen a physician act so unprofessionally.
Rude, went as far as to say "Why are you in my ER? Why didn't you go to the hospital closer to home?" Answer was my specialist has admitting privileges at Floyd Hospital. My GP told me to go immediately to ER based on my blood labs. Bedside manner abrupt. The nurses and techs were awesome at the ER at Floyd Baptist Hosp. Dr. Thomas Harris is not anyone I would recommend or ever want to deal with again.
Very cold didn't seem very concerned the entire staff was very rude not at all how doctors nurses or tech should perform their duties

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
