List of Ashley Richeson's Reviews
Dr. Richeson is a wonderful provider who listens to the patient to come up with optimal workable solutions. She also explains the importance of following the agreed upon plan and answers all questions with clarity and professionalism.
Honestly I wish I could leave zero stars. I had originally selected Dr. Richeson because she had excellent online reviews, she had no wait list either. However after our first appointment I was highly disappointed. She lacks bedside demeanor and any sympathy. I figured everyone has a bad day-later I went back for the same issue that wasn't addressed and she instead of wanting to do further tests simply wrote me a script. I have never felt so ignored.
She is awful. I just had a newborn at Deaconess and My wife and I decided to start with a family doctor. At my first visit I told the nurse I had PTSD from the military. There was a place where it asked about any conditions so I figured it was appropriate. When Ashley entered she had the nurse with her and never approached me like she was scared of me. It made me feel really uncomfortable. She asked me a bunch of questions about my mental health even though I was there for my first appointment and I told her I was seeking treatment for it at the VA. I was simply there to find a family doctor. At the end of the short visit she asked if I had questions or concerns and I told her I had a stomach issue. She asked a few questions and sent me to a different office. I was instructed to give a few samples. No one ever followed up. After my wife and I both had bad experiences we decided to find a different doctor, but that wasn’t the end. Apparently since I had brought up a stomach issue her office billed it as an office visit and not an annual checkup that’s covered. We called and they said if you bring up ANYTHING it’s an office visit. They refused to change it. So now I have to pay over $150 for a visit where they did nothing for me but treat me like a second class citizen. Finally, after we already changed doctors her office sent me a letter stating I didn’t follow up so her office would terminate me from her practice should I miss any more appointments or not contact them. This was after one visit. Her office and Ashley are both unprofessional and rude. As a veteran I felt horrible being treated like I was going to hurt her if she was alone with me. I felt it was inappropriate of her to ask questions about something I wasn’t there for, and then staying on the opposite side of the room at all times. Then billing me on something because I asked about one thing. So only go to annual checkups if NOTHING is wrong with you. One question changes how they bill and they won’t even listen to you if you call. I would not recommend at all. Our new doctor in the same building has been amazing - so it’s just her.
Amazing Dr. Goes that goes above and beyond. She is my family Doctor and i could not be happier with going to her and her staff. Highly recommended.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
