Deaconess Clinic Pediatric Urgent Care's Online Review Report Card

This practice did wonderful work my child has skin issues eczema His main doctor was notified of his red spots. On a Thursday or Friday Sunday went to pick up his meds and his prescription was not there It didn’t surprise me this will be the second doctor that I have to fire for not putting common decency over general practice my kids shouldn’t have to suffer just because some of these doctors don’t wanna do their jobs 🤷‍♂️ But this place here took true concern and help set my son up on a path for success I normally don’t do reviews relating to these types but as a Christian if I can help another parent I would recommend this place because it’s clear now more than ever a lot of these doctors offices, simply can’t be trusted, you can make your judgment based off the fruit of their labor also check out pediatrician doctors in this area. Tell me how many five star you see? Also to the one that is a five star that’s a joke Hope this was helpful. And I am a steward to Jesus Christ and It’s a dang shame what the worlds gone to for people like me and people like you wish I could just wake up and it not be true but it is oh it is living in the New World with an old soul. Every time I have brought my son in they have been very friendly and helpful. Always quick to get him back in a room and get things moving so we can get home. :)

All staff was polite, punctual and professional. They called me within an hour to tell me my child's test results and answered all my questions.

We have been here a few times when my son was sick and have had nothing but great experiences. The staff is friendly and patient with my toddler. The longest we have spent there, even without an appointment, is 35 minutes.

I'm not sure why they call this place "urgent care". We've been waiting 2 hours and 45 minutes with an 8 month old. Apparently you have to make an appointment. I always thought the point of "urgent care" was if someone got sick you could be seen without an appointment.

If you get dr. Donald J McIntire, walk out and ask for someone else unless you don’t want to be listened to about the concerns of your child. THIS GUY IS A JOKE. He did not want to hear anything I had to say about my child and why we were there. I had been on the phone all afternoon with a nurse and we concluded the best treatment plan for my child was an antibiotic shot. I told him this, and he said he wasn’t going to give a shot to every child that comes in. So what does he do? Prescribes medication that my child cannot and will not take. Apparently his word is the final say at this place. The nurse prior to him wasn’t great either. When I said that’s the reason why were here, he didn’t care and cut me off. Told me all these methods to try, guess what we’ve tried them! So my baby gets to wait all weekend with a double ear infection to see her normal doctor on Monday. This is the second time I’ve been to the pediatric urgent care in the two years my child has been alive, and there has ALWAYS been an issue... but this was the FINAL STRAW. He is a JOKE JOKE JOKE and doesn’t care about your child and what you have to say about their health needs!!!

Thankful for another successful experience at Deaconess Pediatric Urgent Care! This is only our second time taking our daughter there and the doctor remembered her. Everyone is so kind and friendly. The hour drive is definitely worth it!
