List of Andrew Combs's Reviews
Takes time to answer all my questions. Gives good eye contact. I had a shoulder replaced. Staff was very attentive if I had a need.
Dr Combs is always friendly and explains everything thoroughly. He is very honest and straightforward. He tells it like it is. He is also very compassionate. If you have an emergency, call the answering service and he will call back immediately. He is a very good surgeon. I speak from a lot of experience as I have been going to him since 2002 and have had my share of surgeries. I would strongly recommend him.
I had surgery called CMC Arthroplasty on my hand to eliminate pain by Dr. Combs. But not only I have pain now, my hand shakes uncontrollably!!!! He sent me to a Neurologist who basically recommended anther surgery .... When I tried to go back to Dr. Combs, I was told that "...we can't do anything for you and recommend you go to The Indy Hand specialists..." Really, you missed up my hand, leave me with pain and uncontrollable shaking and recommend a hand specialist? WOW!

Don't waste your time going! Unprofessional, unkind
He so called repaired my tendon in my thumb which was not a problem. So the problem with my hand is still there.

Crushed forearm motor nerves, clipped tendons and torn blood vessels all in the forearm. The result of a failed attempt to remove a small loose body from the elbow joint. Yup, you just read correctly. Had to have my elbow and forearm rebuilt by an excellent doctor in St. Louis. There are many more of his victims out here.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
