Could not have been better.

I was diagnosed with an appendicitis and needed emergency surgery. After surgery I was told that, at some point between the diagnosis at Riverview ER/Urgent Care and the operation at Riverview Hospital (approximately 4 hours), my appendix had ruptured. I first met my surgeon, Dr. Negrete, when he came to my room soon after I arrived at the hospital. As he explained what was to happen, I had a feeling that I was in good hands; a gut feeling…pun intended. His confidence and his ability to explain the process to me was reassuring. I never doubted his abilities and I absolutely loved his personality!

Dr. Negrete is one of the most caring doctors I've ever had. He took time to explain, in details that I could actually understand, what needed done and why. He stood up for me and made sure I got the care that was needed. He followed up with me daily, some times more than once a day, to see how I was doing. He is a doctor that makes you feel like you are important. I can't say enough kind things about Dr Negrete, i.just know that if I ever needed surgery again I would want him to do it! Highly recommend!!

Dr. Grenete was my dad’s surgeon. If we could, we would give Dr. Grenete 10 stars. He was the most kind, caring and compassionate doctor that my dad has ever had. Dr. Grenete was an advocate for my dad and went over and above to make sure that my dad got the quality of care that he needed. I would highly recommend Dr. Grenete if your loved one needs a surgeon.

Emergency gall bladder surgery...first time I ever heard of him or needed a surgeon. Can't say enough good things. Great sense of humor, obviously high quality competence and real personal care.

I had went to the ER at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. I ended up getting admitted and was in a room on the 3rd floor. My General Surgeon was this guy. I personal opinion about him is that he is a down to earth doctor, easy to talk to, nonjudgmental. I could easily go on but I will share my professional opinion on him. He has the greatest bed side manner I have ever seen. He treats the patient and the issues they are having. He does not medically treat you like the last patient he just seen. He/she could’ve had a heart issue and you have twisted small intestines. That would be very bad. What works for one person may not work on you and vise-versa. I love that in a doctor. He treats you like the person you are and not the sicknesses you have. He is very thorough and will make sure the diagnosis is the right one. He really loves what he does and is seen in how he talks. I would like to add that he is very pleasing to look at.

Great follow up before, during, and after surgery. Explained the 'why' and 'how' for all procedures being performed. 100% trust in Dr. Negrete to perform necessary surgery for colon cancer. As of this post, I am cancer free...easily the best doctor I've ever had. Highly recommend Dr. Negrete and the nurses / staff at Hamilton Surgical Associates (Riverview Hospital).

Underwent hernia repair surgery with Dr. Negrete. He explained everything well as far as what to expect and answered my questions. Surgery and recovery went very smoothly. Highly recommend!

I wish Dr. Negrete could be all my doctors.

I was admitted Feb 3rd 2021 for emergency gallbladder surgery. Once Dr Negrete went in there then he discovered i had liver lesions that needed to be removed as well. I ended up with a 7 day hospital stay and 3 blood transfusions for a liver bleed. Dr. Negrete visited me everyday and monitored everything and his bedside manner shows his concern and compassion for his patients. I would highly recommend him for both his skills and his professionalism. I was a really inflamed mess in there and he did amazing work and I am on the mend.
