MIchael A. Rothbaum's Online Review Report Card

UNETHICAL: I went to Dr Rothbaum in search of finding a good quality pair of lens and good service for my Nike glasses frames. They were able to provide new lens however the second set I needed replaced the lady broke my frames. They do not carry Nike so I had to go back to my old Dr and pay over $200 for frames so my new lens would fit. Staff stated the Dr would reimburse but it would take a week or so. Ok no problem until I got a call stating the DR will not reimburse me because it was my 3rd set of lens and that is not his issue. There was/is no warning or policy stating this. NOT good business practice Doc. Obvious will not be going back there for lens.

Dr Rothbaum did my cataract surgeries. I would recommend him without reservation.

I love Dr Rothbaum he has been wonderful. I do want to request the office find a backup dr who takes Medicaid MD-Wise patients and that they make sure scripts are sent to pharmacies who also accept MD-Wise. I have had to transfer scripts and go outside of the office network for drs when he is out.

Great Opthalmologist with a great staff

My husband is new to Dr. Rothbaum and is thrilled with his office and staff! He has worn glasses his entire life and said he has never seen better with his adjusted prescription. He reported that the technician was highly skilled and professional! Thank you Dr. Rothbaum for nailing his prescription!

I was very thankful that Dr Rothbaum squeezed me in to see him when I woke up one morning with a floater. He knew I was blind in one eye and i was very concerned about this floater When I got to the office the assistant dilated me and several minutes later the doctor came in, asked me some questions as he looked on my eye then got rather quiet . He informed me their was a mass behind my eye and it was bleeding. He quickly took me for some additional tests then confirmed he would like me to have a brain MRI. His initial findings and quick decision got me into the MRI machine 2 days later where they found 2 brain tumors; one rather large and massive edema. 3 weeks later a neuro surgeon took the tumors out and 9 months later I am recovered mostly from a very traumatic experience!

Very thorough and explains everything. My wife and I have been going to him for over 5 years and would highly recommend.

Dr. Rothbaum did lens replacement in both eyes and I was very pleased by his skill, the procedure and results. After a lifetime of glasses and contacts, don't need any optical aid and enjoy my fresh new look!

We have been patients of Dr Rothbaum's for over 15 years. He is a very intelligent and thorough opthamologist with great judgement which is why we followed him from Abram's Eyecare to his current practice in Noblesville. He most definitely deserves five stars!

Had cataract surgery with Dr. Rauthbaum. Doctor was wonderful with a good bedside manner. Staff are great, very thorough with pre and post op education. Very pleased with the results of surgery.
