List of Ravneet K. Grewal's Reviews
The members of the team with compassion have all left, the rest have severe compassion fatigue and can be incredibly condescending in their ineptitude and blatant "if you aren't somebody, don't come here". I was told they were really going the extra mile to research my condition since my insurance did not pay as well as other insurances, and yet they messed up and didn't use my supplemental insurance . I told them the latest research for my condition and was ignored until after they had made money from the "blanket treatment", then they realized I was right and acted like they did not remember anything I had said. These treatments can harm your organs for life! I begun to wonder how many patients live, because you begin to feel like you are in a Sweeny Todd movie. I am alive today due to finding Shcar Cancer Center and changing my diet and lifestyle. With Virginia Cancer Care (Grewal's office) I experienced constant mistakes that could be deadly. I almost died because I trusted them, I was incredibly sick and had to call around myself to find out the truth that they were the ones holding up treatment while the painful and aggressive cancer grew before my eyes daily. I had to save myself. I was last on their list because they had messed up my bill and thought I owed money, when they had already been paid. Then they treat you like you are the "crazy one" and you can hear them talk about other patients suffering from cancer and how "annoying" their anxiety is and sort of maintain this air of "We are dealing with these crazy patients". The really amazing nurse practitioners that were there have all left most likely to be able to do their best work and are probably the reason behind some of the good past reviews and another reason why I survived. I really feel they should all be switched over to lab jobs or something where they are not responsible for lives.
Overtreats patients for $$. Go down the road to Schar and experience what real care is like. I felt like I was in an assembly line. Absolutely horrible.
Best doctor ever. So kind and helpful. Makes you feel like family.
My experience has been wonderful with the staff but the dr isnt around much as you would expect her to be
No response of call, drop the call without listening. Tried 3 times.
The center seems to be only interested in making money. All bloodwork and transfusions were demanded to be done in the office. Some bloodwork had to be reminded many times. I requested routine bloodwork that was conveniently forgotten by the staff. 2 of the 3 times I needed emergency blood transfusion. If I had not asked for the bloodwork the staff was way too eager to administer the chemo anyways.
I have been Dr Grewal in the office. She is very polite, pleasant and caring doctor. She takes time to explain the disease pathology and various available treatment options. She is very well liked by her patients. Its been a very good experience for me nad my family getting treatments at her office. I have refered my friends and family to see her.
Do not see this doctor. She will not give any information unless prompted. She appears uncaring and impersonal. Her staff is highly incompetent. They billed me incorrectly 4 TIMES and her assistants have no idea about the medical field.
i have been seeing Dr g fot the past 11 months. she has always been polite and caring. she certainly embraces new technology and has very little paper in her office. she was dismissive of the lab my healthplan used and drew my blood in her own office many times to ensure that the results were available in a timely manner. their billing doesnt seem to be as upfront as at some offices, but i guess i am just so used to being demanded to show money before everything else, that it seems odd if thats not the first thing here.
I also found Dr. Grewal to be unfriendly, unhelpful, and not very receptive to questions. At my appointments I always felt like she just wanted me to stop asking questions and leave, and most of her answers were very dismissive. The receptionist/nurse is kind, but never knows what's going on with insurance. I always had to be the one to remind her upon checkout that I needed to pay a copay.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
