List of Sonal Ravichandran's Reviews
True care means helping from beginning to end, not just on site.Several consistent issues regarding post visits. Actual visits are fine, doc is polite and helpful. Everything afterwards is like pulling teeth in order to get basic treatment done.Examples: Prescription refills. If I need a refill referral, its a disaster. I had to call the doctor, wait a week for them to send a prescription over, then call again the next week after nothing had been done. After maybe 4 phone calls to the doctor’s office, the insurance company, and the pharmacy and maybe 2.5 weeks’ time, I found it easier just to buy the medicine myself without using insurance. Also, specialist referral: I have had an issue that requires a referral from back in July, I still have yet to hear from the referral from the specialist. I've left 2 voicemails to the office, 4 messages via the app they use. I've even been told via phone multiple times that they'd sent the referral and the specialist would be reaching out... yet nothing happens. After contacting them directly, no referral had ever been sent and they ask me to call the doctor again to have them send over the referral. Weeks and weeks are lost here, and now that I schedule another appointment myself after waiting... I can’t get in until the end of October. No one wants to wait weeks and weeks to schedule an appointment over a month out, and it is especially terrible that no one is following up on any of this and I'm doing all the legwork.I understand the doctor may personally not be responsible, but the face of the organization is the doctor and the doctor prescribes care... perhaps this will help change the way things are done over there on the back end so folks will get treatment they need inside a 3-4 month timeframe.
My mother is 89 years old. When she sees Dr. Ravichandran, the doctor takes her time to ask questions and answer ALL of my mother’s questions. We recently had to go to the ER and Dr. Ravichandran called to check on my mother. She gave us great information to follow up and is assisting with our need to see additional specialists. Most of all though, in addition to being knowledgeable and professional, Dr. Ravichandran really cares about myMother. That makes all the difference in the world.
Worst doctor I have ever had. Doesn't even greet you or make small talk to make you feel comfortable. Doesn't stay informed and will blatantly lie about your test results. Stay far away from Riverview is the best advice I have, unless you want to spend a ton of money on unnecessary and painful tests and still not get any answers or help.
Dr. Ravichandran is one of the only doctors I’ve had that really listens well and makes you feel comfortable to ask questions. She is extremely knowledgeable and thinks outside the box regarding any issues you may be having. In a rushed and busy medical industry, it’s always refreshing to meet someone as kind and helpful as Dr. Ravichandran.
First appointment she made me feel so comfortable. She took her time , answered all my questions and explained what I didn't understand. THX AGAIN,GOD BLESS YOUAlicia

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
