Dr. Arbuck is great. He understands my pain and helps me with my medication.

TLDR Summary: Chronic pain is a life taker. Dr. Arbuck is a life saver. Genetic testing is expensive and not covered by insurance but can be game changing. Getting your life back can be a long process but it's worth it! I've read through many of these reviews and it's heart breaking to see the bad experiences. It's no exaggeration for me to say that Dr. Arbuck and his team have saved my wife and helped to give her a new lease on life. My wife has dealt with Chronic Pain (to the point of being bed ridden for almost a decade) along with severe chronic depression and anxiety resulting in multiple suicide attempts for the last 20+ years. Due to her complexity we were referred to Dr. Arbuck by a psychiatrist after a sucide attempt that resulted in a stroke (our first visit to the clinic was in a wheel chair with a pain rating of 9/10). I know many complaints revolve around the clinic pushing for the PGX genetic testing due to cost and lack of insurance coverage but I can attest that is likely the most important diagnostic my wife ever received and, in my opinion, I feel like all people who experience chronic, intractable pain or complex psychiatric disorders should have this done. The genetic test showed that my wife had multiple gene mutations that affected the way her body metabloized medications and dopamine. Essentially, many of the dozens and dozens of medications she had been taking over the years were actually working against her and making her worse. After interpretting the results, Dr. Arbuck immediately began adjusting her medications to meds that her body could properly process. It's been a long road with a lot of trial and error but my wife is now dealing with manageable pain, walking without assitance and even driving on occassion!! It is not lost on me that some of the treatments can be costly, but in my experience Dr Arbuck always weighed cost vs. potential reward for everything we did. Also, I did think the "pushing his book" thing was kinda weird, but we bought it and it's quite inspirational and supportive so I highly recommend.

Whe I first met him, he was the nicest doctor and seemed very helpful but as his business crew, he becameless available. He misdiagnosed me along with a bunch of other people. Of course I got a second opinion and a third opinion, and of course he was wrong. He is an incompetent Doctor Who only wants to sell you on medicines and Misdiagnose you so he can make more money by giving you unnecessary prescriptions. He should be sued for what he did. I just don't want to get involved. bottom line. Good doctor gone bad.

I am a person who has suffered with over 9 migraines per month for decades. Dr. Arbuck was very concerned about the safety of the drug I was prescribed due to the way it acts in the system. It constricts vessels. Not a good idea in a 60 yo woman. It could have caused a stroke. I was prescribed a newer injectable that has literally ended my migraines. He has also helped me significantly with back pain and balance issues. Dr Arbuck is the right doctor for the person not looking for a quick fix. He has cutting edge skills and seeks the root cause. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I have suffered from migraines for decades (+9/mo.) and was prescribed a drug that seemed to work fine for me as a rescue drug. Unfortunately, as I have aged, this drug is less and less safe due to the way it acts in the system. Dr. Arbuck prescribed a much safer option for a monthly injection. Migraines are no longer part of my life. He also helped me understand my back pain and balance issues. If you are looking for a quick medication “fix” and don’t want to understand root issues of your health problems, Dr. Arbuck might not be the right Dr. for you. Testing and treatment is not always cheap or always quick. If you truly want to understand your health and move toward wellness, Dr. Arbuck has cutting edge expertise to help you improve your life. I could not recommend him more highly.

Cured my migraines I have suffered from at least 9 severe migraines a month that I treated with a drug for decades. As you age, constriction of vessels is a less and less safe treatment. Dr. Arbuck prescribed a much safer monthly injection that has ended my affliction with migraines completely.

Dr. Arbuck violates 5 out of the 6 key principles and elements of the Hippocratic Oath. He could violate the 6th too, I just don't know it. He's not a kind or caring person and he's very arrogant. If you dare question him or disagree in any way, he becomes belligerent. He practices at the Polyclinic in Carmel, Indiana. I should have read his reviews on "Yelp" before I made an appointment with him. Unfortunately, doctors like this give the profession a bad name. He's a classic example of someone who completely missed their calling in life.

Dr. Arbuck is a wonderful physician and I would highly recommend him to anyone who suffers with ongoing pain. He successfully combines treatment of mental and physical pain for his patients. I admire this man very much for his wealth of knowledge and personal approach to treating each patient as an individual. Ten stars! ⭐️

Dr. Arbuck is a horribly apathetic doctor, he only cared about pushing his book full of pseudoscience instead of treating me as a patient, I saw him for help with depression after my father passed away suddenly and he decided to prescribe me an extremely high dose of an anti-psychotic (50mg of abilify) which left me extremely sick after just a week of taking it, when i told him about this he dismissed it and appeared to completely lose interest, he then convinced me to take an expensive genetic test which while he was going over the results made the suggestion “that if i didnt understand them i could go home and ask my (dead) dad”. After i did not trust him to prescribe me any new medication, he dropped me as a client without giving a reason or referral. DO NOT GO TO THIS MAN IF YOU HAVE AN ACTUAL MEDICAL CONDITION

Don’t do it. This man is one of the most arrogant “medical professionals” I have ever met. He talks down to his patients, doesn’t listen to their needs and pushes his own agenda regarding his book and private medications not covered by insurance. If you disagree with anything he says, you’re out. Which is insane for someone in this field. He belittled my family member and there was no attempt to even get to know my family member before we were dismissed. To treat someone in a vulnerable or fragile state with such arrogance, full blown superiority complex and lack of any compassion was mind blowing. Do not trust this man with your mental needs. He will only make them worse.
