Absolutely amazing office. Charming nurses, amazing doctor, gets stuff done quick.I had to battle my medication distributor for my life saving medicine while this office got it done as I was walking in. Kassar is the best doctor/comedian I have worked with. If you need a Endochronologist, 100% check these guys out.

I have been trying to schedule an appointment at this office for months, and no one ever answers the phone. When I was finally able to schedule an appointment, when I arrived at the location no one was in the office, and I am unable to get in contact with anyone because no one is answering. I have rescheduled my appointment at least 3 times now

Dr Kassar is super busy, too many locations and patients to attend to, which leaves the responsibility of communication with his patients to his disorganized, nontechnical, inexperienced, over worked and under staffed office personnel. I would see another Endoconologist if there was one in my area.

I was very hesitant to come back to NorthShore after the horrible experience I had several years ago, but my doctor referred me to Dr. Kassar to treat my hypoparathyroidism but I figured that last time could have just been a fluke. When Dr. Kassar came into the room he asked me how my thyroid was. I told him that I was there to be evaluated for hypoparathyroidism per my primary care doctor. He then started telling me that he would only be worried about me if my parathyroid numbers were too high because that would mean that I would have a tumor & he told me I don't have a tumor. I asked him how he could evaluate me without doing any kind of blood tests & he kept asking "What is your question?". Every time I would ask a question, he would say "What is your question?". At one point he even said "I have to go..." I was so bewildered & confused and I said "If I knew this is how the appointment was going to go, I wouldn't have come" & he responded with "And we would've been fine with that". This is the second time I have been treated like crap by these dumpster doctors for no reason at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean, if you are having a bad day, figure out another way to handle it.

Until I met Dr. Kassar I was having difficulty finding a medication that would agree with me. The main thing is he listened to me. He didn't think I was crazy because I was having so many medication problems in spite of my primary doctor trying to find a med that was compatible with my body. Due to his wise decision to suggest an endocrinologist, I met Dr. Kassar. He is compassionate, caring, and takes my opinions and suggestions seriously. Without his care I don't know if I could have brought my A1C down from 17 to 6.6. I would recommend with to anyone searching for a doctor of endocrinology.
