His team is amazing!

I had a spinal fusion on May 23, 2022 at c6/c7 for a herniated disc & huge bone spur which had caused severe pain, numbness, swelling and weakness from my neck, shoulder and down while right arm. I waited 6 months from onset to surgery (wanted kids out of school). I’ve had multiple surgeries including two other spinal surgeries at L5/S1. This was by far my best surgery! I was lucky and all pain, numbness and weakness was gone right after waking up from surgery. The first two weeks was the hardest (clicking when swallowing and some tightness when swallowing-both normal) but the pain with this one was significantly better than lower spine surgeries. By 3 weeks I was able to drive because I could turn my head side to side with no problem and I was no longer on pain meds. He doesn’t do neck braces to help keep your neck strong and not dependent on the brace. By 6 weeks it felt like I had never had anything wrong or ever had surgery. I even graduated physical therapy after one visit because I didn’t need them. I’ve had a bunch of doctors perform surgery on me and this one is one of the best! My husband needs the same surgery and I’m definitely bringing him here! I do not recommend scheduling an appointment with him since the only one you will meet is his medical assistant. He never appears in the consultation.

Dr Matthew Stanfield and his assistant ( I can not remember her name). Perform surgery on my Neck and back November 11/ 2021 I completely own these two people a World of thanks and for giving me back my life... I highly recommend these people to anyone else....,

Life changing. Before finding Dr Stansfield I was in a power chair and so much pain that fentanyl couldn’t control it. Three specialists told me, 20 years earlier, that I’d never walk again. I’d been to many doctors and unbelievable meds and procedures without help. Dr Stansfield preformed cervical and lumber surgeries. Within months I was walking and off all the narcotics! I’ve been on my feet for over a year. Praise God and Dr Stansfield. The wait time is because he listens and explains to every one of his patients ??.

If I could sue this man for permanently disabling me I would. I'm 31 years old, have underwent 2 more operations to try to fix what he caused, and now I will be getting a spinal simulator because they can't fix the damage. Thanks doctor, for ruining my career, my health, and my life.

I was referred to Dr.Stanfield and I never met him on my initial appointment. I saw his PA only and was referred to Dr. Trang for injections. The injections hurt me so bad that I couldn't walk for 3 weeks. At my followup appt his office blew me off, kept asking for my mri and x-rays when this was supposed to be a followup appt for my injections. They claimed they couldn't get in touch with me before my appt because I supposedly gave them a wrong number yet they had correct number.

I suffered for over 2 yrs with horrible back pain so bad I was on 3 diff blood press meds and couldn't walk but 50-75 ft before stopping to rest a minute. I could only walk humped over. I saw my reg PCP, a chiro, pain mgmt with injections and 2 diff orthopedic drs, multi X-rays, and 2 MRI's. Nobody diagnosed it correctly until seeing Dr Standfield and Bobby. They were absolutely awesome!!! After surgery I had immediate relief, rmvd from all blood press meds & could walk upright & tall again

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Dr. Stanfield. He was so helpful to us after my mother had a serious brain event. Went way beyond what was expected. He is both compassionate and knowledgeable, which is what we all want in our doctors - especially a specialist.

Dr Stanfield is an excellent neurosurgeon. I would recommend him to anyone.
