Terrance Blackford Md's Online Review Report Card

Can't get past the telephone voicemail to leave messages. Can't get test results or call backs. Have even had other patient's mail sent to my home. Wonder if any of my results have gone to other patients. Thought medical records were private. Not good office management.

Doesn’t provide adequate guidance in determining care.

Has been my urologist for several years. I wouldn't see anyone else! He diagnosed a problem no one else had mentioned after many years of searching for an answer with other physicians. Very personable.

I waited 2 hours to see Dr. Blackford but he could only spare less that 5 minutes for me. He asked me two questions and told me I needed another test. He then rushed me out of the office because he had another location to visit. His office staff were the rudest staff I have ever dealt with. They were too busy playing on their cell phones to direct me from one location to the next in their office. Very rude when they spoke to me. I cancelled my follow up appointment, no way I would every go to him again.

Dr. Blackford is a one of a kind Physician who works with compassion and puts patient's needs well above his own preferences. Great bedside manner. Always helps reassure patient and give the expected outcome of procedure. Very thoughtful, will give you options for patient to make a decision in which procedure is best. He has treated many of my family as well as myself, I would wait just to have him to care for me over other Dr's in practice, although others have treated me when they were on call. His main concern is for the patient. I've never waited more than 45 minutes and that's with being a last minute work in. The staff at St. Marys and Audabon are friendly and make you feel comfortable. RN Kristi is very kind a knowledgeable, great addition to his practice. Dr. Blackford is a one of a kind doctor. Even staff at Surburbon Hospital has told me that he is the top Urologists in KY and Indiana, but I already knew that. I feel confident about the procedure or not all over health when he is in charge. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Dr. Blackford is very patient and understands the needs of his patients. He put my concerns at ease when he took the extra time and explained my procedures to me and my daughter. He office staff are very friendly and helpful and the nurses that work along side of him are even more amazon. Dr. Blackford has not only taken my pain away he has given me my life back. Thank you

Thanks to Dr. Blackford I have my health issues solved! Dr. Blackford is a very nice and thoughtful person. He always puts his patients first. Although I had some unforeseen issues he was always there by my side !! Thanks Doc

Dr Blackford is great however His office staff the day of my surgery was very rude and would not help me get my meds with the pharmacy said I was on my own not their problem so I will not even be doing my post op follow up with Him I will go to my Family Dr

I saw Dr. Blackford do discuss my vasectomy and ended up talking sports and basketball. He's a regular guy who happens to be a highly rated urologist as well. Great experience thus far!

I was very satisfied with my doctor/patient experience with Dr. Blackford. He listened to me, was good at explaining and sharing information with me. My issue is with his office staff. Twice, my pharmacy has faxed a refill request and both times I've had to follow-up with a call to the office after 5 days and no response from his office. I was put on hold for 45 minutes one time and told another time it was "not their problem" that they'd sent it. Very rude and curt, not helpful.
