I was having syncope issues that my primary care physicians felt I need to follow up with a cardiologist just to rule any cardiac problems out. Dr. Ahmed was very thorough and ruled out any cardiovascular issues. But did warn me to do better at healthy eating in order to control cholesterol problems. Other cardiologists I had heard of in the area tend to create problems where there are none. But several of her current patients recommended her and stated she would be honest in regards to my care. She was everything they said and more. I definitely would recommend her to anyone with a cardiac history. I live PCB and her office is in inlet beach. She and her staff are worth the drive.

My husband loved Dr. Ahmed. There is no other cardiologist in the area I would trust with his care. She is thorough and if it isn't cardiac related she will tell you so and refer you to another specialist in which she feels your symptoms are more closely related since cardiac has been ruled out. I have known friends who have seen other cardiologist in the area that wanted to operate only to go to get a second opinion in another area or state to find there was not a need for surgery. I trust her completely she will always be our first choice!

After seeing several cardiologists I was left with this Dr. she seems pleasant and caring. Her office staff however is incompetent. The nurse is odd and I’m 100% sure is giving inaccurate blood pressure readings. After going to many drs my bp is always high. Two times this nurse has given me a normal manual bp. I do not believe this and something needs to be done. I will contact the office manager because this needs to be looked before someone has a stroke. This is the destin office. The other office nurse in Bluewater thinks she is a doctor. Giving medical advice. These two employees are typical of what sacred heart hires.

This was my initial visit with Dr Ahmed. I thought she was thorough, thoughtful and reasonable regarding my treatment and a way forward. She actually spent time not only gathering the necessary history but also spent time counseling me on how to best manage my health.

After seeing another cardiologist for years, I found myself with Dr. Ahmed. What a difference!! She is not sweet and soft as some may want. She is a physician. She went through all my records, asked why certain tests were done (i didn't know), asked about followups, symptoms, and stressed the importance of cholesterol treatment. She was almost harsh but said it was not to scare me but to make me understand because if I didn't understand that it was serious, I wouldn't do anything about it. She asked questions, listened and set out a plan that I could accept. She is what a doctor should be.

Negligent and incompetent. No monitoring after treatment to see if treatment worked. Would definitely never recommend her.
