I can't begin to explain how personable, caring, knowledgeable, attentive and explains every last question you may have. I was so sad I had to leave my Dr. in Chicago due to insurance and that Dr. Viera would be a 4 hour drive for me. I thought I would have all of my testing done back home and just see him once a year. My husband and myself are so impressed that we have decided to take me there every 6 months for testing and for everything I may need done in the future instead. I felt such a relief of anxiety lifted after meeting him and him explaining things so well and my options. He called the next day as well as his wonderful CNA Carrie to make sure I was ok and understood everything and if I had any more questions. I like the fact he will get biopsies done quickly for me as needed and he is a small town Dr. with so much knowledge and that he actually trained under the Dr. I had in Chicago. I will no longer have to wait weeks to get an appointment or weeks to have a biopsy performed or wait on phone calls with results as he will make them himself to me. I feel no matter what my future holds, having my breast problems in his hands I would do anything this Dr. advised and there was no way I was going to do that in the town I'm from who didn't even feel comfortable dealing with my issues and wanted to ship me to Chicago after a first visit with them. You will never go wrong seeing this Dr. If you've been praying and searching for the right person I swear he is it. In my opinion God put him here for this work.

Dr Vieira has performed surgery on myself and 2 other family members. I cannot say enough good things about this man - he is amazing. He is extremely educational to his patients and spends the time he needs to explain everything in detail. I would have no other surgeon work on me but him and my family members are in total agreement.

Dr Vieira is one of the best MDs. I have had. He listened to my concerns and symptoms and made sure I had the best course of action. Once I was given the diagnosis of colon cancer he sent me to the oncologist where he would go if he needed to be treated. During my chemo and final surgery that gave me the diagnosis of stage 4. He kept very close eye on me and made sure I was okay. He has personally called me on a few occasions to give me the results of my scans before the oncologist could.

Dr Vieira us the most compassionate caring physician I've had the privilege to meet. My 45 minute surgery was 4 hours because of unforseen complications. I'm 100% positive if he hadn't been my surgeon I would have lost part of my colon. I wouldn't go anywhere else!! In fact, I travel 2.5 hours one way just to go to him. He is that good! He is also the nicest most caring doctor I've met.

Dr Vieira is very professional and caring. He answered all my questions and I didn't feel like he was rushing me out of the office. I would totally recommend Dr. Vieira to anyone who is in need of surgical care.

My first meeting with Dr. Viera was very positive. He was gracious, friendly, and very easy to talk too. The staff were all nice and friendly too. All in all a good experience.

Dr. Vieira was very thorough, very informative, very helpful! A wonderful doctor-patient, gentle, calm, extremely nice, wonderful personality and bedside manner. He is easy to talk to. I would reccomend his services to anyone in need.
