He came to visit our newborn in the hospital both days - even on his day off. He always spends as much time as is needed to diagnose and explain everything, and he incorporates the latest medical research into his practice. We always recommend Dr. Brier because the level of care we get from him is second to none.

He has been my children's Dr for approx 9 years now & both of my children LOVE him. He has a great bedside manner & puts the kids at ease and makes them laugh. He is patient and kind.

I can't enough about this doctor, he is truly amazing! Our oldest one is now 18 and our youngest is 15 and is special needs, threw the years he has been there for me,,,, he is just so caring and spends the time going threw thing with me, he doesn't make a point to rush,,, he goes over info till I understand it, I was blessed to have found such a wonderful Dr!!!!

My 5 year old son was diagnosed with levoscoliosis 24 degrees. He also had a Chiari malformation which can be tied into scoliosis, but an MRI needs to be done to verify this. Dr. Brier refused to do an MRI. Had to go to the University of Chicago, where the neurologist and neurosurgeons felt it was necessary to have a brain and spine MRI done. Good thing we did. My son is now going to go see a neurosurgeon for what is called decompression surgery. Also, called Dr. Brier's office over and over about a pediatric orthopedic referral for the scoliosis. It took the office 2 1/2 months to even call and make the referral. If my son's Chiari and scoliosis link had not been caught by the doctors at Chicago, he could have ended up dead or paralyzed. Dr. Brier's reason for not doing the MRI? My son was too young to hold still. At Chicago, the MRI was 3 hours long and he was sedated with Precedex. No problems with the MRI at all.

I am very happy with Dr. Brier, my daughter is only 20 weeks old so we have not known him for very long. All of our visits have been very informative and I he gives me a sense of comfort.
